I had a breast augmentation 5 months ago, over the muscle. I still find it difficult to sleep and wake up feeling achey, as if I have pulled pectoral muscles. The pain subsides as the day goes on but I am still getting the odd sharp and shooting pain throughout the day. I got 315cc, from a cup to c/d cup. I was wondering if this is something I should worry about as I thought 5 months on it wouldnt still be painful?
I had a BA with a lift in December 2022. Since January, I've had small holes (the size of a pencil eraser) appear along the vertical incisincision on both breasts. Sometmes they pop up alone, and other times are preceded by a blood blister. I've reported these to my surgeon and sent pictures but said he didn't know what these are or why they're happening. I am hoping that someone can help explain these mystery holes so that I can understand what is happening to my body.
Hi, I'm 5 months post op and concerned if the scar is getting thicker than average scar healing process. What can I do to lighten and flatten? I'm currently using Dermatix Ultra 2x daily. I have history of keloid skin from chickenpox
Had stage one invassive lobular carcinoma breast cancer and had a lumpectomy 5 months ago. Had radiation for a month and am looking into breast augmentation. I did one online consultation and they said i could not have the surgery at all because my oncologist has me taking tamoxifen for 5 yrs. I dont want to wait 5 yrs to fix my breasts. Cant i just stop taking the medicine 2-3 weeks prior to surgery? Is that an option?
I have anatomical textured high profile 310 implants at the end of last august. From the side to me they look odd as though they are too high, I have a bump for the upper pole and no lower with my nipples too low. I feel they look odd sticking out from my body. Is this how my result should be given how I looked before the op and my weight being overweight? or are the implants too high? or maybe a larger round implant would have produced a better result to create a fuller lower pole? Thankyou
My left breast is healing very slow from beging. After op 1montg left breast incision opened up and stitched back after not closing on time. Now 5 month post op hard red lump on top of my areola. Surgeon said suture absence gave antibiotics. Now taking them 3 rd day. Today noticed right breast tiny holl on my incision? Is this normal why I am not healing? I am worried about infection. Everything was fine. What should I be doing? So I can start my normal life style. Very stressed. Thank you
I am about 5 months post op! I just wanted to know if my breasts are too close together or if this is a good result? Just because nobody elses breasts appear this close together and usually they have more of a defined cleavage ! Thanks for the input! (I did 275cc silicone under muscle, bwd = 11.5cm.)
5 months ago I had a MM to include breast implants (530 cc natrelle implants in each breast, axillary incision). My ab lipo was end of April. Results were great! A week ago my right breast suddenly started feeling sore and then it began swelling, raising and getting warm & firmer. My Doc thinks It occurred too suddenly to likely be capsular contracture. He is treating me with antibiotics, medrol & Accolate. Any ideas what could be the cause? Hes not sure...yet.
Last week I noticed my right breast feeling painful and more difficult to move in the pocket. It's still fairly soft minus the top part. I saw my PS and he said could be early stage CC and put me on singular. I am now having tingly right arm pain, sometimes severe. I'm not sure how much longer I can deal with it. If the CC progresses I want them out. I'm taking ibuprofen, anything else I can do for the pain? Are my wired bras making it worse? I'm massaging as well.
I'm 5 months post breast implants and am still experiencing sore and tender incisions.. The scars are sore to touch/press and if I move my arms up too high or in a certain direction the incision hurts and feels like the skin is being pulled too much. Is this normal? Is something not right? Do they look normal?
