Thank you for sharing your question and photograph and I am sorry to hear of your recovery difficulties.  Though singulair can be used for early capsular contractures it often returns once the medication is discontinued.  I would alert your surgeon to your symptoms and issues as they need to evaluate the cause of your radiating pain.  Unfortunately without more information on your medical history, and without an in-person exam, it is difficult to make definite recommendations.

be47125.  I am sorry you are having these problems, however I agree with your plastic surgeon’s recommendations, Singulair to treat the possible contracture and anti-inflammatories for your discomfort. The pain that you were describing may be caused by the early capsular contracture, and I would stop wearing the underwire bra, as this may be a contributing factor.  Continue following up with your plastic surgeon, And please do not rush into drastic actions until you have exhausted all conservative measures.  Good luck!

Damage to the intercostobrachial cutaneous nerve can cause radiating/numb upper inner arm pain. Capsular contracture, in continuity with the nerve, could also be exacerbating your symptoms. This is something you should discuss with your plastic surgeon.
