Hello. So, I'm in need of a breast aug revision for reoccurring CC and bottoming out. I don't want pig tissue, so I've requested Alloderm. I've been told that Strattice is used more bc it's stronger... but I seriously do not want pork blended with my tissue. Do you have a preference over the other, and why? Thx!
Hello, I am seeking long-term lip augmentation. HA products do not work for me because i metabolize them too fast. I have had a dermal fat graft. It worked to some extent. What are the pros and cons of using strips of alloderm in lips? Is it dangerous in any way? Why is it not used commonly by plastic surgeons? Thank you very much for your time and help.
I received implants after a mastectomy back in 2016. For the past couple years Ive been struggling with pain and inflammation that causes rashes and severe itching. After seeing many dermatologists, oncologist, and my surgeon, I went for an MRI. They found that the inflammation was due to the Alloderm. So Ive been told I can have it removed, or deal with painful flare ups. Im scared of how Itll look. What are the complications and how different would it look if I had the Alloderm removed?
I'd like to get Sientra breast implants. I've had capsular contracture 3 times with both saline and silicone (although they were PIP's). I have a history of autoimmune disease. Will my body reject the alloderm? Am I better off just doing Sientra alone?
I had a third breast revision surgery for capsular contracture and implant buckling (my prior surgeon put an implant 1 cm wider than my breast tissue). My current surgeon lined my lower breast with Alloderm due to extremely thin breast tissue. How long does it take for the Alloderm to integrate into my body. Also, will this affect the quadrant exercises I am supposed to do to prevent CC?
