I researched many surgeons, and although he was not from my state, his work stood out from the rest. The facility is well-organized, and the healthcare team was incredibly kind. I am still healing, but I am in awe of the procedure. He is truly an artist with noses, and I feel very fortunate to have been his patient. My only regret is not having done it earlier.

I got saline breast implants when I was 21. Now that I’m 35 and have a child things have changed quite a bit. I got my surgery back on April. The nurses at Westlake Plastic surgery are kind, compassionate and caring. They made sure I was comfortable during the entire process. Dr. Caridi is a genius, he’s completely real with you and only wants the best. I ended up with a breast lift, exchange of implant (stayed with saline and went smaller). I also got liposuction in my abdomen, back and flanks. I couldn’t be happier with the results!

I had a breast lift with implants done by Dr. Caridi 2 weeks ago. Word on the street was that he was ‘The Best’ and I’m here to tell you that he actually is THE BEST!! Online Consultation: I’m not going to lie, I really didn’t want to do the online consultation. My mom drilled into my head never to put nude pictures of yourself on the internet.. and here I was, sending topless photos of myself to a complete stranger. But a couple of hours later Dr. Caridi e-mailed me back his professional opinion AND his price. I quickly realized this process is brilliant. I would rather find out if a doctor is out of my price range this way instead of wasting half of my day going to meet with somebody to find out prices. He was very reasonably priced and I scheduled an in person consultation right away. Consultation: Most of my consultation was done with his nurse, Lacy. Dr. Caridi struck gold with Lacy. Every doctor needs a nurse like her. I have a lot of anxiety and was so nervous going in to this and Lacy had a way of instantly calming my nerves. She explained the whole process to me and answered all of my questions. She took her time and listened to all of my concerns and I never felt rushed. Then Dr. Caridi came in to examine me. He came through that door with so much energy and personality! But more importantly, confidence. This was not my first consultation. I know that the lift and implant combination is not an easy surgery to perform and the other doctors were sure to let me know that my lift would not be easy. Dr. Caridi examined me and made me feel like my procedure would be a piece of cake. He has a lot of experience and knew he could give me great results. His confidence gave me confidence! He was without a doubt the surgeon for me. Pre-op: My pre-op appointment verified for me that I made the BEST choice with Dr. Caridi. Dr. Caridi and Lacy went over everything again with me and they both remembered all my questions, concerns, conversation and the littlest details from my consultation. Y’all, that is big. That right there showed me that they listened and truly cared about me. I was not just a number. They really love what they do and care about the people! I was having a really hard time choosing the final size of implants. I had so many pros and cons for the two different sizes I was trying to decide between. I decided to trust and go with their opinion on size. Surgery day!! The morning of my surgery is a bit blurry to be honest. But I do remember everyone being so upbeat and helpful and wonderful and I remember thinking that these people really do love what they do to be so... happy! .. at the butt crack of dawn! My surgery went great! Dr. Caridi ended up doing a lollipop lift on one breast and a full anchor lift on the other. My husband works in the medical field and there are not many surgery centers that he trusts. He inspected and watched everyone here like a hawk. He was BLOWN AWAY by the cleanliness and patient care here. Recovery and post op: first off let me say- MY BOOBS LOOK AMAZING. I’ve looked at thousands of before and after pictures and stories of recovery and had some idea of my expectations. The boobs Dr. Caridi gave me far exceeded my expectations. He is a true artist. I was pretty nervous about recovery. I’ve read/heard some horror stories and knew this would not be an easy surgery to recover from. It really wasn’t that bad at all!! Lacy called the night of my surgery to check on me and was available if We had any questions throughout recovery. I emailed with questions and she responded very quickly. I had my 2 week post op appointment yesterday and everything is healing well and looking very good! I really could not be happier with my results and this entire experience. Updated on 8 May 2019: 6’1, 140-145 pounds. 32 years old. Mom of a breastfed 1 and 4 year old. I went with 415cc under the muscle, high profile silicone implants. Updated on 8 May 2019: 2 weeks post op and feeling pretty good! Updated on 24 May 2019: I am 4 weeks post op now. Other than a few spiting stitches and muscle soreness, everything is healing nicely. I still have quite a bit of dropping and fluffing to do. I can hardly wait to see the end results! I added a pic with a mole circled to show how lifted my boobs really are. They now sit a good 3 inches or so higher than they used to!! ???? amazing! Updated on 6 Jun 2019: 6 weeks post op and feeling SEXY with my new boobs ??????? love love love them. I had a follow up appointment this week and got the green light to go swimming and buy/wear whatever bras I want now. Guess who’s going shopping for swimsuits tomorrow?!? I am so excited I can’t even stand it. Updated on 12 Jun 2019: My right boob is still a little tight and has some dropping to do. It finally quit spitting stitches so now I can start scar treatment!

this is a story of over-resection, an attempted cover up and then abandoned follow up i had surgery for mild gyno done by caridi 12 months ago with an awful result 1. the preop assessment was inadequate. he spent one minute with me, did not examine me and did not explain the surgery/consent. 2. the surgery was done poorly, rushed and incomplete with a bad result - very uneven and lopsided. he did excessive lipo on the right side [in fact he removed all the normal fat along the right edge of the pec] and much less on the left side. he removed part of my right pec muscle fascia resulting in permanent deformity - a large divot next to the pec and deltoid.. this has left me with a significant asymmetry postop. the right side is a lot smaller now. he misused the vaser and caused second degree burns. this has left me with significant skin scaring, discoloration and burning pain. i now have to take neurontin to sleep. this is permanant irreversible damage. when i showed the second degree burns to the nurse post op - maria , i was advised this was normal 3. i found post op communication with lacey and caridi deceptive, evasive, misleading and dishonest. initially he said the result was incredible. after three months, he acknowledged the asymmetry but said that this was swelling and fluid, which should settle with six months massage. he has not provided any proper and truthful explanation for any of these complications. NO answers to specific questions as to WHY uneven and lopsided? he said that the problem was my expectation ?? i had mild gyno and postoperation i am now left with a small and deformed right chest he said that this has never happened before. he has stopped responding to emails asking further for advice and postop management for the ongoing worsening scar and tissue defect. he has effectively abandoned postop follow up 4. i have sought a second opinion from a local surgeon who has confirmed that i have a vaser burns contraction and dysthetic nerve damage from negligent use of the vaser. the scar tissue on the right is worsening as is the bad burning pain. he explained that these complications are due to over resection of normal tiissue, a result of poorly planned surgery. the liposuction was not done equally on both sides. the sternal and axilla edge, and the delto-pec groove has been aggressively resected on the right BUT not addressed on the left side. he was unable to explain why there is a big divot next to my right axilla and deltoiid muscle, and he told me that he could not understand why this area was subjected to liposuction on one side but not the other side! 5. in summary, i have had a disastrous result. in my case, caridi has done bad, lopsided surgery [my right chest is now flat and collapsed] and then tried a cover up by trying to tell me that the result is excellent. the manner in which he has conducted and abbrogated all follow up demonstrates a total lack of professional standards. i have submitted a complaint to the texas medical board about my experience [including corroborating evdence - sequence photos and emails, second opinion] 6. i also want to point out that the caridi website is very misleading: 1. the vaser causes more severe scar formation than  conventional lipo. this fact was explained to me by  other surgeons. furthermore, the vaser causes damage to  the pec muscle and fascia when abused. the muscle is  flattened and no longer moves naturrally 2. all the website photos are early post op. there is no  reference to the severe scar formation that will evolve over  the next six months - burns contraction and skin damage,  sunken divots, tethering on animation, none of this is  covered in the preop consent and discussion, and this  outcome is very real. there are no photos showing this 3. in my experience, the preop assessment and post op  follow up fell well short of an acceptable standard of care

He is one of the most experienced gynecomastia surgeons in the world and is a leading expert on gynecomastia. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon.His website and youtube channel are the go to resources for understanding gynecomastia surgery. With his youtube channel Dr. Caridi has made the surgery very transparent for those interested in getting the treatment; I felt very confident about the surgery before and after because I knew what to expect after following the channel.Dr. Caridi offers a comprehensive solution for complete chest sculpting (meaning that all zones of gynecomastia are addressed during the treatment). When I researched other surgeons, I realized that some had a very limited view on what gynecomastia is and how to solve it. Dr. Caridi’s solution to me was comprehensive and would offer the sculpted chest results I was after. I would highly recommend checking out Dr. Caridi’s video on his different zones of gynecomastia. Even though Dr. Caridi is one of the leading experts in gynecomastia surgery his pricing was at a better price point then competitors I had looked into. Based on my research Dr. Caridi’s pricing was going to give me the highest quality treatment at the best price. Day of surgery The facility was super clean and well organized. I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Westlake Plastic Surgery. Ana, Maria, Lacy, Javier, Carol, Sarah and Cherri were all super helpful and informative throughout the entire process. Everyone made me feel very welcome, comfortable and calm before the surgery. Dr. James Wilson is Westlake Plastic Surgery’s board certified anesthesiologist. It was my first time having general anesthesia and I was bit nervous about it but it went very smoothly and I didn’t feel nauseous afterwards. Just a quick side note anesthesia - if you run across surgeons who will do this procedure under local anesthesia and tote it as a plus you might want to do some extra due diligence and figure out why that is – is the surgeon board-certified, is there facility certified, does their facility have a board-certified anesthesiologist. After I saw the results I felt that the treatment was well worth it. I just had gynecomastia surgery two days ago on January 21, 2019. My experience at the AGC has been amazing. From the professional staff to my procedure, I am so happy. My expectations are fulfilled. Dr. Caridi blew me away and I am so happy with my transformation. I have waited years to feel good about myself and he definetely made this possible. Highly reccommend Dr. Caridi to anyone who is looking for this procedure.

I talked myself out of this surgery for 4 years and after getting it done with Dr C and staff I wish I would have done it way back when I first learned I had Gynecomastia. First off Dr C is amazing all around, amazing personality and I couldn't be happier with my surgery results. The information from the AGC YouTube videos gave me the courage to finally get gynecomastia out of my life. No more obsessing and lurking on the internet about Gyno. My confidence is back, and anyone dealing with Gyno, Dr C, his absolutely amazing staff, and amazing facility will easily solve this problem. The whole process is easier than u could ever know. If you want the best, choose Dr. Caridi! I had a full "Mommy Makeover" (breast augmentation reduction, tummy tuck, and lipo) on March 13, 2018, and am loving my results! He has a great personality, which shines through, and his level of expertise exceeds most, if not all, of the other Austin-area plastic surgeons. His confidence gave me confidence, and he did not shy away or talk around some of the hard-hitting questions I asked about the procedure and his success rate. Dr. Caridi's staff are all very friendly and professional and just really "good people." Nurses Lacy and Maria have been incredibly supportive, genuine and fun throughout this process, and Carol Moon is just a doll!

I had a breast augmentation by Dr. Caridi a few months ago and could not be happier! Now that I have had time to recover, I can give a great review of my results. Dr. Caridi and the nursing staff spent a lot time with me in my consultation appointment helping me try on different implant sizes. Probably too much time, I know they are super busy, but they spent as much time with me as I needed. I was worried I would go too small (like all our friends worry us about) or that I would go too big (what a conundrum, right). They had me try on different shirts and look in the mirror at different angles so I could really see what they looked like. I tried on every size. Ironically, the size that they suggested first was the size I ended up choosing. They obviously know what they are doing. They helped me choose a size that perfectly fit my body and complimented my natural curves. Luckily, I already had breast tissue so he told me my breasts will feel natural and I didn't have to worry about them looking "fake". This is so true! I can't even tell I have implants. They feel like my own breasts!! What I also loved was that he spent a lot of time explaining how my implants will look with the curvature of my rib cage and the shape of my existing breast tissue and skin. He took time to explain the importance of wearing the right bra every day so my implants stay high and perky for a long time. Bra bra bra. They also suggested that I use scar cream on my incisions to help scarring. He used the Keller Funnel to insert my implants so the incision was very small, about an inch-ish, and it is already disappearing and hidden in the fold of my breast. The procedure was so quick and my recovery was perfect. I am beyond happy with my new ladies and certainly have sent my friends and family to Dr. Caridi.

Dr. Caridi is the real deal. He is an artist and what he did for me was and is miraculous. I had six children and breastfed them all for at least a year. I had large breasts to begin with and they had once been perfect salad bowl shapes. Years, pregnancy and lactations later they looked like two drowned sea lions hanging nearly to my waist. Dr. Caridi was a miracle worker- he performed breast reduction surgery with full nipple grafts. I was afraid of having my nipples removed and placed on sponges but I had such confidence in Dr. Caridi that I over-rode my fears and gave him complete autonomy on what I needed- how big they would be- everything. He surpassed all of my expectations. The only thing that disappointed me was the way my nipples had no projection-- the stayed flat. I mentioned it to Dr. Caridi and he told me he could fix that! Using a tiny bit of ear cartilage he fixed my nipples so they stand out again. I have heard that it is unusual for nipples to respond by expanding or contracting after a FNG breast reduction but mine do. I prayed about it before hand and Dr. Caridi and God made it happen. I wouldn't go to any other plastic surgeon- Dr. Caridi is like Leonardo Davinci. His gift is rare and profound. He sculpts. He is also fixated on safety. He will take great care to make sure you are safe at all times and his staff is like a bunch of angels. You will feel supported from initial consultation through your healing process. Just do what Dr. Caridi tells you and you will be so proud of your results.
