K. Roxanne Grawe, MD (license permanently revoked)

I had a tummy tuck with Dr Roxy in April of 2022. She was great! Very personable and so talented. The nurses made sure I knew exactly what to expect post op. I had several lymphatic massages that helped with healing. I only wished I would’ve met her sooner!

I can’t even begin to tell you how much Dr. Grawe has changed my life! She is a very talented surgeon and the post op providers/Roxy girls in the office are just wonderful. I had a Breast lift/augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction flanks & fat transfer to labia majora 6/30/22. I stayed for 7 days in the Roxy recovery house which was amazing as well because I’m not local. Dr. Grawe explained everything very well at my pre op appointment, I went into the procedure with realistic expectations and very well informed. The aftercare I have received from the post op providers has been equally as amazing! I absolutely love Tia she has been wonderful. They have called to check on me, quickly responded to emails and worked me into their schedule. I literally can’t say enough great things about everyone here!

I have been following Dr. Grawe and watching her snaps almost everyday on social media for three years. Most plastic surgeons are like salesmen, they'll give you the disclosures, but they won't delve deep. Dr. Grawe on the other hand, will say it like it is. She will explain every option and its pros and cons. Not to mention, her eagerness to actually accomplish the best results. I have asymmetrical boobs and she sincerely wanted to help me achieve the best look for myself and hyped me up. She explained different scenarios of what we could do, but never pressured me into choosing a direction. Which I respect as I know that some surgeons are too comfortable with a specific technique/method that they kind of pressure you to go that route. I am one week post-op and I have had the best experience from start to finish, AKA, from Tracy to Dr. Grawe and the post-op team. Coming in surgery day was so freaking fun and I couldn't be nervous because of the good vibes there. You've got music playing, everyone is smiling and hyping you up. It felt like you were visiting your besties. I will never forget the kindness of everyone there and how much they went out of their way to help me. Brielle, Mo, Sarah and Tia are literal angels. I would recommend Dr. Grawe to anyone that wants to look their best, but also have fun during the life changing process. Dr. Roxanne Grawe is literally like a celebrity, Los Angeles plastic surgeon that Ohio has been blessed with.

Dr Grawe and her whole team are wonderful! Before surgery I was so nervous and they did everything to make me calm and comfortable, after surgery they were all so quick to answer my calls and messages for every question, and my results are amazing. I am so comfortable in my skin finally after having 3 babies and it’s the best feeling!

Dr. Roxy and her team were nice, but she didn't help me pick what implant size would look best on me and let me pick a size that i think was a bit too big when she knew what I was looking for. She also promised that i wouldn't get stretch marks, and that she has never seen them on a BA patient before, but i got them very badly. her nurse practitioner later told me it was common. why lie? She believes in letting women choose whatever they want, which at first i thought was a good thing, only to realize i'm not a surgeon and have no idea what i truly want to get my desired results. i wish she would have helped guide me instead of blindly applaud every choice i made. Also, I have not seen her once after the surgery. (3 months post op) not even afterwards in recovery, she lets nurses handle everything else. I don't know. she was fun and cool and nice, but i think in hindsight i would have chosen someone else. Updated on 31 Mar 2022: After Dr. Grawe saw my review and saw that I was unhappy, she reached out to me immediately and encouraged me to schedule an appointment with her personally. When going in, I was a bit nervous, not knowing what to expect. Dr. Grawe sat with me for easily over an hour, allowing me to pick out every detail of my breasts that I didn’t love. She listened to me and was extremely understanding and caring. I knew I picked her for a reason. She explained to me that regardless of the implant size, some of the things that I wasn’t happy with had more to do with my own anatomy, and went out of her way to help by offering me laser treatments for my stretch marks and other remedies for my other concerns because she wanted me to know how much she truly cared. I can say with confidence that I do not think I would have got the same time and compassion given to me by Dr. Grawe from any other surgeon. She was completely honest and straightforward and I could tell how important my happiness was to her. If I could do this again, I would still pick her without a doubt.

Dr Roxy did my tummy tuck on July 27th of 2020. That day was the start of something new for me. She gave me the confidence that I lost after having my first baby. I don’t look in the mirror and feel sad anymore. I no longer need to wear the tightest spanx or the ULTRA high waisted jeans (that really squish the crap out of my fat/loose skin). I can wear anything I want comfortably and not be insecure of how I look in it. Now I’m not sure how I found Dr Roxy but I’m so grateful I did! From booking a consult to end of it all, she and staff had made it all easy. Sometimes I’m a really nervous/curious person and ask a ton of questions, concerns, or just worry but they’ve always been quick to respond and put me at ease. I just couldn’t recommended enough. Thank you for all and everything! Will continue coming back for more wants.

If your thinking about it, do it. After having 4 kids, it was my time! Dr. Grawe got me back to my “before mommy life” chest. I’m thankful for my life changing decision. I had a breast augmentation with a lift. 520cc -Stay Foxy-

If you’re sitting here trying to figure out if Dr. Grawe is the “right” plastic surgeon for you, Look no further and book the consultation. I have NEVER in my life felt as comfortable in my skin as I do at 18 days post-op. My pre-op and first post-op appointment were a breeze and the team is knowledgeable and supportive. Dr. Grawe has an amazing energy to her and she truly cares about all of her patients. I drove 2.5 hours for Dr. Grawe and I’ve recommended all of my friends looking to get something done as well. Updated on 12 Feb 2022: I wanted to add pre-op and a picture of my scar at 16 days post-op. I started prepping for surgery 2-3 week prior with iron pills and a lot of protein (protein shakes and bars). I have continued this through my recovery. After drains were removed I started using the silagen scar gel and it’s AMAZING for creating a protective barrier and treating your scar. Expensive- but worth it in my opinion.

Counting down the days until my much needed tummy tuck so I can finally repair my muscle separation and get rid of that loose skin from having three kids. My muscles tore so bad when I got pregnant with my second child at just 3 months post partum and my body just did not have time to recover from my first baby (that was a c section). I just turned 34 around 118lbs and it’s been challenging finding similar body types who have went through with a TT on here so wanted to share my journey and future results. I gained a lot of weight with my third and worked hard to get into shape after I had him. Fitness will forever be a part of my life (so long as I’m able) and not being able to train my core has been challenging and I’m done with it. I hate how hard I’ve worked to never be able to achieve a strong flat stomach. It’s always bulged out and looking like I’m pregnant. I’ll be happy to have that flat stomach and finally be able to train my core when it’s all done! I’ve chosen to travel to Dr. Grawe for my TT as her work speaks for itself and there’s just nobody in my area that I would trust performing a surgery like this, so I’ve chosen to make the 3 hr drive and go to her. My surgery was set for July 28th as she’s all booked out but asked if they could please put me on the cancellation list as to hopefully get notified of something sooner and thankfully got notified a few days ago and will be going in for surgery on Feb 21st. My pre op apt is Feb 1st so I’ll update then and let you know how that goes (in case you’re looking to book here as well). Updated on 22 Feb 2022: Surgery went well but it was pretty intense the first 5 hours. Not gonna lie it was really freaking painful but did subside once I got home and got a bit of food in me. Right after surgery it was just throbbing and burning and I was getting really worried it wasn’t going to subside but after the first 5 hours it stopped and now it’s just really tight and sore. My muscle separation was pretty severe and wow does it make a difference having my abs back together! I worked out so hard but it was never obtainable unless I had surgery and I’m so grateful for my surgeon as she’s so gifted! So far I’m obsessed with the results! PS: I didn’t have any lipo just a tummy tuck Updated on 24 Feb 2022: Had my first shower yesterday 48hrs after surgery and it was so nice. I’m still hunched but seeing an improvement everyday with how much I can stand up straight. I’m able to stand up more and more each day as well as walk more and more. I don’t have much pain except just tightness and sometimes I get cramp like pains when I’m walking too much which at that point I know it’s time to lay back down. I’m actually dealing with more swelling in my thighs and arms than I am my stomach which I’m surprised by. The drain is going great and is so easy to care for and truthfully I forget it’s even there. I’m told to keep my binder on for the next two weeks and at that point I can stop wearing it or I can find something else to wear that might be a bit more comfortable to wear with clothes. Updated on 26 Feb 2022: Feeling pretty darn good under the circumstances. I haven’t taken pain meds for a couple days and I’m able to drive fine now. I’m doing house chores and helping with my kids, I just make sure to not lift anything over 5lbs as instructed and I listen to my body. I really believe that the reason my recovery has been so smooth and easy is because I worked out and made my health a priority before surgery. I make sure to drink my protein and get enough to help with recovery as well. I also took off the plastic bag that collected the fluid as not much is coming out anymore and just put a pad over the tube to collect any fluid that does come out (was told this was perfectly fine to do by my doctor.) it’s much more comfortable to have the bag gone. Sleeping is going good and I can lay flat in bed now on my back when sleeping, I don’t feel the need to have to be reclined anymore unless it’s just the way I want to sleep that night. Updated on 27 Feb 2022: I’m posting my before and after results so far at only 6 days post op and I know my results will only get better with time. I’m also going to share some of my surgery photos for educational purposes! My talented surgeon films her surgeries and posts them live on Snapchat but only if the patient signs off on it. She does this for educational purposes and to show that it’s not this big scary place that you should fear. I’ve watched my surgeon for a couple years now and her posting those videos to snap is the main reason I decided to take the leap and get the procedure done. It made me realize that I could do this and that I didn’t have to fear going through this procedure. Her work also speaks for itself, she’s so incredibly talented! I now have my surgery video forever which I think is so freaking cool! If you’re thinking about having this done let me just tell you that it’s honestly been life changing and I’m still so early in my recovery and I’m still saying that. The first abs second day were the hardest as far as being in pain and uncomfortable but after that it’s been smooth for me plus I’m in love with my results so far. It’s just so nice to not have this big ole bulge anymore even after working out for years and never having that flat tummy. Now I can’t wait to tackle those workouts with a rock hard core and actually see results this time with my abs. Updated on 8 Apr 2022: 6 weeks and 4 days today Scar is completely healed but I did have one spot open up at 2 weeks and 3 days or so? I think I put too much tension on it after I was cleared to do some exercises and woke up one day with it hurting pretty badly and after taking a look it was pretty red in this one tiny spot on the right side right where my hip bone is. It scared the crap out me as the last thing we want is an open wound and then infection. Long story short it thankfully closed up after a week but it had me worried there for a bit. I workout frequently and have been able to stand straight without any issues of tightness I would say around that 5 week mark. I could stand up straight just fine around 3 weeks but still had a tight feeling. I don’t wear a wrap and haven’t since 4 weeks. It doesn’t fit my life style and I knew from the beginning that remaining wrapped up for 3 plus months was never going to be for me. My doctor doesn’t require it either thankfully after a few weeks but I don’t find it comfortable and choose to workout regularly and eat semi healthy to help with bloat and keeping my body lean. As for scar treatment I will now start to educate myself on the best ways to help fade my scar and right now I just started using “silagen” and have been using silicone scar tape since 3 weeks. I have areas that are super light and barely there and then I have spots that are dark purple and wider (especially where the drain was). It’ll be a slow process to see any improvements there which I’m fine with. As for my belly button I’ve just let it be and haven’t messed with it. I know some put things in theirs but I’ve truthfully just left mine alone and it’s healed great. I do hope the thickness of the scar will start to lay down flat over time but I have noticed the scar itself has faded some. All in all I’m glad to of had this surgery and having my muscle separation repaired was the up most important thing to me. I can happily live with a scar if that means I can have my core back! Updated on 8 Apr 2022: For some reason my 6 week post op photos didn’t upload with my update and now it’s making me type out 200 words to even post these pictures. I’ll do my best to upload photos of my incision as it continues to fade over time (hopefully it fades more). Updated on 5 Jun 2022: I’m around 3 1/2 months post op and I’ve noticed that my scar around my belly button has faded a lot over the past month or so. I don’t keep my belly button covered when I’m out at the pool because I’m in a two piece majority of the time and I have found that the sun has actually helped fade my scar vs making it worse. As far as my big incision I do normally have it covered with silicone tape all the time but just a couple times have I worn a bikini out with it uncovered like the photo here. It is fading quicker in some areas vs others but I still have a ways to go with that as it takes a full year to have a good idea of what your scar will look like. I’m really not self conscious of my scar, I made a decision before getting this done that having my muscle repair done is way more important to me than having a scar. So I just choose to rock it and roll on with life. If it is something you’re nervous about just know that it is easy to conceal if you wish to do so. I did have two times where a tiny hole appeared and my body spit out stitches. When it first happened I thought my incision was ripping open from an infection inside. Scared the crap outta me at first but they reassured me it was really normal and common for it to happen. It did close back up pretty quick but it’s really weird when it happens, lol. I will try and continue to post my scar progress as time goes on as I know many women are always concerned of the scar (totally understandable). Updated on 25 Aug 2023: I haven’t been on here since last summer, time just flys by anymore I’ve taken up pole fitness and it’s really helped strengthen my core and build some muscle. Before surgery I had such a weak core and really bad muscle separation from having kids that I could never do any activities or exercises that targeted my abs. Now I’m just working hard to strengthen those muscles after years of never having any support through my abdominal wall. My scar is wider on both sides of my hips for a couple of reasons. My left hip was where my single draining tube was and took the longest to close up and heal. When it did heal it was a wider scar. My right hip was from an area that opened back up randomly. I remember waking up one morning and having some pain from that side. When I looked it was red and slightly separated. I think it happened after a workout I had done the previous day where I was doing lunges (I was cleared at this point to workout). It took a while for it to heal, and no doubt scared me to just lay off working out until everything was completely healed. The rest of the scar is a thin line and the scar itself has never bothered me. I never feel like I need to hide the scar or am I insecure about it. If anything I’m thankful I have my stomach muscles back together after experiencing years of muscle separation which is no fun! It’s also nice not having all that loose skin and constantly looking like I was 4/6 months pregnant. That’s all I really have to update on when it comes to my my TT. Glad I did it, and have no regrets!

If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. I am 10 days most tummy tuck and I am already loving my results. I had been following many surgeons online for quite some time before scheduling with her but there is no comparison to the works she does to other doctors. She is the BEST at what she does and I trusted everything she had to say (if she told me I needed to chop my left arm off to get the look I wanted I would’ve done it) that’s how much I trusted her. Her bedside manor is too notch and she is so personable. Now post op staff, absolute rockstars. I had many many questions when I got home and I emailed them (most of which were probably dumb questions on my part but all was new to me) they were so quick to respond and even called to talk about my questions. They never made me feel like I was bothering them even tho I’m sure I was. They made recovery a breeze. I couldn’t have made it with out them! The client care they provided was the best I’ve ever received. Long story short schedule with Dr. Roxy you won’t regret it!
