I can't say what Dr. Garber is like, as a surgeon, yet. I will be able to rate him better once I have had the surgery. However, I will say this: from my personal experience, talking to him and emailing him, he's a very nice person, which is important to me when choosing a surgeon. I thoroughly researched Dr. Garber and he is one of the best and most experienced bariatric surgeons there is. His practice is a Center of Excellence and he gets great reviews. He is board certified and a member of ASMBS (American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery). I will further rate him when I am post-op.

He exudes confidence and compassion like no other surgeon I have ever met. He is available at all times to answer your concerns. It's been well over a year and he is still there for me. I felt that I was was thoroughly informed about everything before during and after my surgery because of my Dr and his team. The staff is wonderful. The hospital is set up to deal well with bariatric patients. I have no regrets that I chose my Dr and would highly recommend him.
