I tell all of my friends about Md Skin Laser Vein in Hunt Valley. I have been to Dr. Margaret Weiss, Dr. Beasley, and Dr. Hsu. I have had many treatments here including fraxel, pico laser, botox and filler in the face and lips. Everyone is professional and friendly. They are all very experienced and upfront about costs. This place is cutting edge, often training dermatologists in training on the very newest procedures. I have never been disappointed and would not even think about going anywhere else.

My doctor has been recommending that I do this for about 2 years because I am constantly complaining about my turkey neck. I am 45 years old, and when I looked in the mirror and saw a neck that could pass for my grandmother's, I knew I had to go ahead with it. As the price for the entire face was $400 more than lower face and neck, I did a full face ultherapy. First off, there was a mix up when I scheduled the treatment, and they told me that I was not going to need a driver. So I drove myself to the appointment, left my kids at their camps, only to be told that I was going to have to take an oxycodone as it was sooo painful there was no way I was going to make it through the procedure with just numbing cream. I had already paid a $1600 deposit and waited 6 weeks for my appointment, so I was not anxious to reschedule. Even if I had been able to find someone to pick me and my car up, I still had two kids at different camps with all sorts of things to do today, so, against all the nurses pleas, I went ahead and did the ultherapy with just numbing cream and advil. And you know what, it wasn't really that painful. There were a couple of the deeper passes on the throat that radiated into my shoulders that stung for a second, and on the more superficial passes across the forehead, it feels like your hair is standing on end, but I found that the pain, while is isn't exactly pleasant, isn't terrible. It is very transitory -- we're talking a few seconds, ladies -- and to be honest, I think getting a filling or a dental cleaning is more troublesome. I was in the procedure for almost two hours, so unless you panic at the mere thought of pain, I wouldn't give the issue of pain another thought! For comparison, I have done exilis and fraxel in attempts to fix the neck, and I thought the heat from the exilis was far more uncomfortable than the ulthera. As far as after treatment goes, my neck feels like it has a bit of a sunburn, but itsn't red or inflamed, and the rest of my face feels fine. No redness. I'm hoping my ugly neck looks better soon!

I've been going to Dr. Weiss for 5 years now and have had the most positive experiences and results. Before I had gone to some of the dermatologists named in Baltimore Magazine and never felt that they understood my issues or had the time to speak with me. Dr. Weiss was recommended to me by my son's dermatologist. The office staff is the best trained medical staff I've ever encountered. They are pleasant and understand customer service. They work with me in scheduling appointment times and I never have to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room for the doctor. The rest of the medical staff are equally friendly and very helpful. Dr. Weiss is a genius. She listens to me when I tell her what I am concerned about and she is also very honest with me when I ask her about the benefits of certain procedures. In addition to Botox, I have had Ultera, Exilis, IPL, and Restylane. I have always been extremely pleased with the results and feel that Dr. Weiss has given me a very natural look - nothing that smacks of cosmetic work. I had cystic acne in my 20s - in the years before Accutane - and Dr. Weiss has worked at removing the acne scars that remain. Today, at 56, I have the beautiful skin I wanted in my 20s and I am always complimented on my gorgeous skin. If only they knew the suffering I went through in my 20s! People are also surprised to find out that I an 56 and think that I am in my 40s - again, I credit Dr. Weiss and her handiwork for minimizing my aging. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dermatologic issues. Nuf said!

I had a few "hard to get rid of bulges that even with dieting, wouldn't go away. Had both hips and lower tummy area done in March and by May was a size smaller. I was extremely pleased! No pain at all. The worst part was sitting there for 3 hours with nothing to do; became a bit bored.

I had the Active FX procedure performed on my entire face on December 30th to repair fine lines under my eyes. The doctor recommended the procedure be performed on my entire face to avoid differing skin tone on the rest of the face after the eyes were lasered. I went along with her recommendation.I am very,very pleased with the results. It is important to anyone who is considering the procedure to be patient.While I saw improvement immediately, my skin tone and texture continue to improve daily.The only negative to the entire experience was the pain I experienced during the procedure. It was much more painful than I expected even though I was prepped with lots of numbing cream. But after the first night, pain went away.It is most important for anyone considering the procedure to find a doctor who is experienced and knows the proper settings.

I had a laser treatment to remove temple veins. The procedure itself was not very painful. Before I left, I looked in the mirror and didn't notice any difference. I was told it might take an hour or two to notice. A few hours later I called the office in tears because there was still no difference at all. I asked if I could have a refund and was told icily that a second procedure might be necessary. No, I could not get a refund nor could I have a discount on a second treatment. The difference in demeanor before and after my appointment was shocking to me. Never in my initial consultation was it mentioned I might need more than one treatment. I had driven out of state to have this done and was embarrassed that I'd wasted over $400 for nothing. This happened in 2011 and I'm still upset about it. Not only did my original temple veins not disappear but several new bright blue veins have joined them. In hindsight I wish I had left well enough alone.

I went in for a consult for ultherapy or thermage (skin tightening) - I had saved a few months and was quite excited. The day of my procedure, Dr. Weiss (Mrs. Weiss) came in prior and told me that I shouldn't get ultherapy- I should get a new laser treatment and I was in luck because they were running a special because it was new and 3 treatments would only cost me $1000.00. I went with her suggestion not knowing a thing about this laser treatment. It did absolutely nothing and after my 2nd treatment, I raised concern that this was not what I wanted - I wanted something collagen producing. The results wouldnt' show for awhile - they never showed. I wasn't permitted to view my initial pics with Dr. Weiss when I went back in for a consult with her. I wanted to show her there was no difference. She said no. I asked for the treatment that I initially came in for as a replacement - she said no again. These guys are great at vein treatments but they pushed a laser treatment on me that they were testing - they don't even offer it now. After she left the exam room - I heard doctor Weiss ask someone if I had signed all the documents, which I had - I knew then it wasn't about the patient or doing the right thing. I'll never do any other treatment with them except vein treatment and by the way, neither of them are the best at vein treatments - Dr. Beasley is the best.

The procedure price I was given during the consultation more than doubled on the day of the procedure. I felt like I was going to a slimy used car dealer, not a qualified, ethical physician. I was shocked at the shoddy bait-and-switch antics used. I don't trust an unethical physician to perform any procedure.

Wonderful staff, timely with appointments, amazing Dr. and great results. It was easy to make an appointment, they are very upfront about costs and genuinely interested in helping resolve your skin problem as opposed to just recommending the most costly treatment to make money. Dr. Weiss has an amazing temperament and is conservative and thoughtful in her approach.
