Q: Dysport side effects - what are common complications?
A:
Although Dysport is new in the United States, it has been used in Europe for quite some time. Also, Dysport is very similar to Botox, which has been used here for many years. I consider both to be very safe provided that your physician is experienced in injecting these medications. For both Dysport and Botox, the most common ill effect is bruising and this occurs in less than 5% of patients.
Hope this helps.
