My experience with this doctor was very satisfactory! Would definitely recommend for others for lipo and Brazilian butt lift. After surgery I was given very good treatment in terms of pain relievers and tips to ensure a good recovery.
He is a excellent doctor, he's priority was my health and my life, from the beginning I want it to get tummy tuck, lipo, breast implants and a bbl and I didn't care how much I had to pay but he explained to me the all that can put my life in risk. Dr. Acosta is THE MAN! For staters my issue has always been that I have always been big on top and small at the bottom. So I decided to go for a tummy tuck/bbl. I was so nervous on getting surgery but when I confided in a friend she referred me to Dr. Acosta. I am so please with my decision to go with Dr. Acosta. I actually cancelled with another doctor to go with Dr. Acosta. I am 2 and a half weeks post op and everyone is already loving my results. Even the recovery house I stayed in (sweetheart recovery house) were impressed with Dr. Acosta's techniques. Everyone complements me on my tummy tuck wound on how nice it looks. I am mostly impressed with how cautious Dr. Acosta is. I saw how other surgeons treated a tummy tuck like it was nothing leaving their stitches open or putting a TEESHIRT OVER IT! Dr. Acosta's main concern was to prevent infection and I LOVE that. The day of my surgery Dr. Acosta took control of the situation and got me right into a room like a BOSS! In cipla there are so many girls you can easy spend an entire day there. Dr. Acosta came in and put me in a room by 8am! Every appointment I had after my surgery he was sure to clean me up nicely and cover my wound right up to prevent infection. There was never any worries. I had 0 complications and he made me feel completely safe. He did an amazing job. Now it's my turn to put in my part. After I flew back home he even checked up on me to make sure everything was ok. If you want a doctor who cares about not only about your safety but your appearance as well Dr. Acosta is the man for you. I plan to return to get a couple of more "alterations" haha but I would only let Dr. Acosta touch me! I've physically seen other girls and all the complications they went through and it just makes me even more sure that Dr. Acosta is the only one for me!

And dr Collafo give me back my self estimated back again. After having my children I really hated my tummy. The pros is that you'll feel better and look better. You will get the results you wants. The cons The pain after might be uncomfortable. You you will not be able to stand up straight for a week or two and you might have a scar. The surgery for me was well worth it!
I'm so excited to finally have booked my flight and surgery date with Dr. Jose Luis Acosta Collado. Seeing first hand the amazing work he does Im very confident he can nip/tuck and plump me up.. Dr Collado has made me feel comfortable making himself available to respond to all my questions directly. Updated on 12 Aug 2016: I arrived in DR 7/16 and Monday 7/18 at 9am started my bloodwork and pre-op exams. Dr Acosta's receptionist Massiel was very engaging and energetic helping me breeze through the process with a beautiful smile and positive attitude. By 12 noon I was cleared for surgery and at 2pm after his morning surgery with another patient I met Dr Acosta. I instantly felt comfortable with him and he was honest about expectations for optimal results. I initially wanted BBL & TT but Dr Acosta said I had more than enough volume in my butt so it was decided that liposulpture and tummy tuck would be best, I also convinced him to lipo a little between my knees and inner thighs.. I was marked and ready for surgery at 4pm and out in recovery a little before 9pm. I woke up requesting/demanding something to help me sleep (I was not im pain but i was VERY uncomfortable) they must have given me something good good cause I was knocked out till about 6am.. Before 8am Dr Acosta came with an OR nurse to check/rebandaged my incisions and put in my compression garment and compression stockings. The Dr & nurse were funny and worked well together making it alot more of a comfortable process for me. The hardest part of the journey was having a drain for the first week and getting what little sleep I could on a reclining couch as my back was very sore. A little over 3 weeks post op and finally back home the pain has reduced and I'm so happy with my results that I've started to double up my Columbian style garment with my waist cincher.. I will post before and after pics once the swelling and brusing go down.. but as you can see in my current state if recovering - the results to me are wonderful! I recommend Dr Jose Luis Acosta Collado 100% with a 5 star rating all the way!

The clinic was very clean and organized , the staff was polite and helpful. I felt very comfortable with my decision. Dr. Jose Acosta is a wonderful doctor he makes sure he takes care of his patients. Extremely professional made me feel very comfortable. I am extremely satisfied with the work he did I definitely recommend him. I'm a nurse at a dialysis center and I was skeptical traveling from the US to get surgery done in the Dominican republic but this doctor knew exactly what he was doing I recommend him 100%. He'll make sure you will not get any type of bacteria which that was one of my number one concern. The office is very clean the operating room is very sanitized. The secretary is amazing everybody was super nice. Updated on 9 Jul 2016: This been 4 months I've recovered with no issues. Dr Acosta has been contacting me to make sure everything is ok. Ladies he is great. I'm so grateful.
I did not feel good about my body as it was 100 pounds before and gain weight without realizing it and I did not feel good about myself. So I decided to have surgery with Dr. Acosta and my mother had operated with 2 times and never had any problem with the surgery. And thank god they are clean and careful with their work, No complaints with their work everything was spectacular.

I was really afraid of the operation, as most of the people are, thought of, what if the doctor will make a horrible ass, what if something will go wrong. But everything went so smooth, woke up about 5 hour after the surgery. Won't lie, the first 2 days after the surgery were awful, just awful, it hurts, uncomfortable, all I was trying to do is sleep or watch movies. On the third day I felt quite better and I got to see doctor Acosta before I left to my town (3 hours from Santo Domingo), I swear I was sitting on my knees the whole trip.
