Stitches out @ 2 weeks doctor says it looks great, prescribed acidic acid 0.25% to compact belly button 2 daily. When I take off dressing I see this white skin producing. Each time faster is this normal. I went to the doctor after seeing it for first time taking my first compact out. Doctor says it's normal/only dead skin and clipped most of it and told me it will keep happening and he will see me in 2 weeks after taking my compact out its back again! I don't understand why it's producing so fast. why this is happening? Will I have an outie?
So I had a fdl tt and my surgeon found a superficial blister on the fdl just below my belly button. He opened it up and it got bigger, now I have a large area of necrosis which is being looked at on a weekly basis and receiving wound care - he says the dead skin will drop off but medical sites suggest that the necrosis will spread, Im really worried. Using bactoban and inadine.
I had surgery 3 1/2 weeks ago. I had a infection but that is currently getting better. I am now questioning how bad the Necrosis will get? Does it look like I will lose more dead skin. Also when black scab falls of will that be raw skin? Still draining not sure how long that will last. Thanks
Hello Doctors, I am 6 weeks PO . I see that my wound is getting fuller and smaller :-), although I have this stubborn yellow thing inside the wound which even made hole. I am seeing my ps on Monday and I worried that what if this little hole (not the whole wound) get closed with these yellow thing inside because it is looking like to get it covered very soon. Should it be fine to get it closed if it is going to be the case? Or my ps will be opening and cleaning it anyways? Thank you
tummy tuck incision is currently closed with no leakage. (3 wk PO TT/ MR & lipo of flanks.) The Dr. was able to Aspirate 2 syringes of fluid from the site where the JP drain was pulled. She was unsuccessful at aspirating any fluid from where the jp drain is currently still in place (left side) The aforementioned jp drainage has slowed down considerably after the aspiration, less than 20 cc's daily. What are my chances of the fat necrosis resolving on its own. will it lead to skin death?
