I started taking multivitamins since 5 days ago. Vitamin C = 680 mg, vitamin E = 12 mg, Vitamin a= 400 ug. Vitamin K1 and 2 = 135 ug. I thought it would be good for me now I read it's bad to take it before surgery. My surgery is due one week... Will this be a problem ?
I'm getting a rhinoplasty tommorow and ate a burger that has sunflower oil. And that has vitamin e. Is that bad or will I be fine? IDKif the actual vitamin e is bad or if it has some in food too I'm scared
Ive been applying antibiotic ointment on my columella scar/incision area for a week since rhinoplasty, but ive been advised to stop using it. The stitch itself has been cut down but theres still some small fragments of it remaining. What shall I apply to help the stitches dissolve faster? Is vitamin E oil okay?
Hi everyone, I was wondering if it would be okay to apply pure vitamin e oil to my nose 2 weeks post-op septorhinoplasty? I used it as a moisturizer for years before I had my surgery and would like to use it again as soon as possible. Thanks in advance!
I am having rhinoplasty in less than a week. I use a couple different products (to treat scar removals) that contain Vitamin E in it. I was instructed to stop taking Vitamin E two weeks before surgery because it can thin your blood. My question is: Is it okay to continue to use my scar products (containing Vitamin E) on the surface of my skin? Is Vitamin E only a concern when ingested or also when applied to skin surfaces? The site of application is a spot of my arm and leg.
I am scheduled for a rhinoplasty in 9 days, and I was told to stop taking Vtamin E 10 days before surgery; however I see now other websites are recommending stopping 2 weeks prior to surgery. I stopped taking Vitamin E ysterday (10 days exactly before). Normally, I would take daily supplements of Vitamin E (400 IU) along with zinc, B-multivitamin and primrose evening oil. I am a little concerned about any adverse effects. Should I talk to my doctor and try to delay the sugical procedure? Thanks!
