Dear Doctors I was trying to remove dead skin around my nose using tweezers internally and externally. However I accidently pinched the skin of nose with the tweezers, it did hurt for a second , and seems a little bit swollen. My question is did I permanently damage my nose and is this swelling permanent? Your sincerely
had a tip&alar trimming done 2 weeks ago. had my inner stitches removed he told me i have to have my nose cleaned by a professional cos of the pores that are blocking the skin to completely heal the scars from the side of my nose without seeing holes when the time comes. So what are the inhome ways that I can do to clean my nose and remove dead skin and blackheads so i wouldn't have to go to some face spas?
I had my surgery on July 14th, and it is August the 2nd now. Whenever I wash my nose, it is covered with a white, slimy film afterwards. i usually take a tweezer and gently flake the dead skin off. What is causing this? Is it swelling?
After 2 months the inside of my nose has healed completely however the outside of my nose is VERY dry and there seems to be a build up of dry dead skin forming on and around the tip of my nose. It's most noticeable after I get out of the shower. Some of the dead skin comes off when I gently use a q-tip but some areas would require a slightly more abrasive cleaning to come off. Is it safer to wait for my skin to heal on it's own or should I try to remove the buildup of dead skin on my nose?
My nose is covered in dead skin and looks dirty when you look at it. Whenever I get out of the shower or sweat my nose turns snow white because it is covered in dead skin. I've tried reaching out to my surgeon but he's busy with surgeries. Isn't there like a cream to get rid of it? what do I do?
