I am an 18-year-old Caucasian woman and had open rhinoplasty to lift my tip 10 months ago. I have thick sebaceous skin. My concern is that 10 months PO, the nose still changes appearance, looking fairly decent on rare occasions (image 1), but mostly resembling my old nose (image 2). In the past 2 weeks, after a kenalog shot, the squishy bump relocated itself on the lower part of the dorsum. Is this a normal occurrence in your experience?
had a septo-rhinoplasty in April 2023, 10M postop soon. I've read that by now 70-90% of swelling has resolved. My doctor told me I had medium thick skin around my tip only. Before surgery my main concern was from front, getting rid of the bulbous/tear drop shape where the bridge of my nose became the tip, I wanted distinction between. Im not seeing much of a diff, will bridge get less wide? I can feel bone when I squeeze until I get to bottom of bridge near tip, then feel slight swelling
Had rhinoplasty in Istanbul 10 months ago and left side nostril is higher than the right and from the front my nose is very swollen at 10 months and bigger than before, Dr keeps asking me to carry on wearing nostril retainers still and not really imformative about my concern, is this normal?
I'm currently 10 months post op septorhinoplasty. I've been worried that I have a polybeak deformity, but my surgeon has not suggested or advised taping or steroid injections. I have this dent in the bridge area, its quite visible in pictures with flash, almost looks like a vertical line going across my bridge. Any advice as to what I can do? I have before and after pics for reference
I had a rhinoplasty this year February and its November the tip of my nose still hard and especially my collumella is hard and looks weird like its hanginge. Especially when i smile it looks weird is that normal? Will it change overtime as it softens or will i need revision? :( its really stressing me
I had a closed septorhinoplasty, no grafts. Removed a hump and took a bit of the tip. I was really happy when the cast was taken. I've had consultations with the doctor, he says everything is ok. However, I see irregularities on the right side. It seems that there is some roundness above the tip that wasn't there when the cast was taken. Also, the front still looks swollen, mainly next to the tip. Can this still improve? If it is scar tissue, how does this change as the years go by?
As the title implies, I had underwent a rhinoplasty surgery and still to this day I have trouble breathing through my nose. The inside of my nose is almost always dry and it feels like it is clogged with muckus but I know it is not. I've used nasal sprays for months after surgery but stopped using them 3-4 months ago. But I still cannot breathe normally through my nose.I've started using water based nasal cleaning kit but I still smell blood
