I feel so bad that i got a revision (6 months after primary) , Its been only 2 weeks and I feel it looks almost the same, with same problems I got after the 1 surgery. I hate how over-rotated it is, I wanted a 90 nose, not this super elevated unnatural angle. Also i'm terrified to see that it looks pinched now, esp- from the below angle. The doct put a graft in the tip to make it bigger but it didnt work like that and another one in the collumella but its still way too straight and angular
I a rhinoplasty to fix my deviated septum and reduce a little hump I had. I am devastated with the results of my rhinoplasty as I liked my old nose. The changes I thought I'd have were minimal and wouldn't change the overall appearance of my face. My nose is now small, pig-like and flat. (said changes we never discussed with surgeon!) I am aware that 2 weeks post op is too early to see the final results but I doubt it will get bigger. I feel fake and overdone. Is there anything I can do?
It was to remove a small hump that was left after my 1.5 years old primary rhinoplasty. However Im starting to worry about the profile of my nose, because I feel that its starting to look like a parrots nose.
Two weeks ago I had a very long (8.5 hour) revision rhinoplasty surgery. The surgeon took out my old graft and used a totally new one. I am feeling pretty good except my nose feels full of crust and boogers (I can breathe well though). The feeling of crust inside my nose is driving me crazy. I know I can't blow hard so I was wondering if I could use a Netipot or any type of nasal irrigation and to what instructions to be careful?
I just had a revision rhinoplasty done 12 days ago. I remember my surgeon telling me my nose will drop a little. Its day 12 and my nose is straight and a tiny bit droopy but Im afraid it will drop more. My surgeon told me to tape it every night for a month like the picture shown below. My question is, Because its day 12 are there any other nose exercises I can do to avoid further nose drop down the line? Does walking or sudden movements cause tip to drop?
I am 2 weeks post op from a revision rhinoplasty. My old nose had a indentation/deformation on the right side (PICTURE ONE) due to something collapsing in my nose - I don't remember the proper terminology. After my revision surgery the indentation seems to be gone but my nose still looks deformed. My left nostril (PICTURE TWO - right side if you're looking at the picture) hangs down lower than the other one. I did not have this issue before. Thank you!!
I had revision septorhinoplasty 2 weeks ago with tip and nostril reconstruction (using grafts). I didn't have a splint after surgery, only tape, which was loose and barely hanging on when I got it off 10 days post op. At first I loved my profile, but as the week has gone on, my profile has seemed to get worse, almost like my bridge got higher or something. Any ideas why this might be? Is it because my tip dropped? It's bumming me out!
I had revision septorhinoplasty 12 days ago, with work done to fix my nostrils, tip & columella. My left nostril has been completely swollen shut since about an hour after the surgery with very little resolution so far. My nose is also looking intensely bulbous and huge and wide. I had my post op and my doctor did not seem overly concerned, but I have been having incredibly bad anxiety attacks about it, which are affecting my daily life/work. Is it normal to still have swelling to this degree?
I had a revision rhino 2 weeks ago, to fix a hump and asymmetry. The doctor was supposed to take a little of the thickness from the middle of the bridge of my nose and now half of my nose is gone! I could tell because of the cast shape that it was too small and skinny but he keeps blaming it on the cast. Is this going to flatten out, or can it be fixed?? My nose literally comes to a super defined sharp point and looks so ridiculous!
