I am 47 years old, and have never had children. I have had some major fluctuations in my weight over the years, and things have not gone back the way they used to be after my last weight loss of 60 lbs. I have had my initial consultation that went really well, and have my date set. Nervous and excited!!

Thanks! I am not having this done until Sept/14. I have only had my consult at this point. I have one more appointment prior to the procedure. So, no results yet! I may get my nerve up to post a few pics closer to the date. I'm not there yet:0

Happy you found a PS that you feel comfortable with. After a lot of research I also found my GUY! Scheduled my surgery for Sept 24th, it will be nice to hear about your journey. Thanks for sharing.

Well, I have to postpone for a year. I ended up having a more urgent medical matter arise, and that had to come first! Due to work obligations, I won't be able to swing the needed time off until next year this time. I am disappointed, but that is life!

Thank you for posting! I'm scheduled for mine November 11 so I've been scouring this site to see people shaped like me! :-) Your results are fantastic and I hope I look that good too 18 days post op. Scared to death but going to just do it!

I was scared to death too! The first couple of days are rough, but it gets better after that! I'd do it again if I had to! Good luck with it all.

Well, I am certainly on the count down now. I am working right up until the day before. The nerves have begun big time. I am dreaming about some aspect of the upcoming surgery almost every night now. I don't think that it helps that I have actually watched this surgery being performed a few times.

I am excited, scared, bur mostly embarrassed about the thought of getting marked pre op. I think I may be woefully unprepared for the initial post op period. I have all of my necessary medications lined up, but I was hoping to have the freezer full of easy to heat meals. I will only have help for a couple of days, and then i will be on my own. I guess this week will be a very busy one. I will be ready for a good nap by the time next Friday arrives.

I still have not had the nerve to post any pre op picks. I know my surgeon does great work, and I may feel differently after the surgery, and I may be quite happy to post pics then. I have taken some, they just haven't made it to the internet yet!

I hope to have a few dreamless, restful sleeps between now and then!
