I had a tummy tuck revision yesterday with lipo to my flanks, the pooch under my belly button and then excess skin removed. I had a breast reduction about 25 years ago and was left with pooches under my arms. So lipo was done there and the excess skin removed. I have three drains this time. Approx 1500ccs were taken out which I think is about a liter and a half ....approx 3 lbs. I can honestly say this procedure is more painful than my initial surgery. I see my surgeon in the morning for a bandage change. Can’t wait to see what she did! Thrilled my tummy is finally flat!! Now to get 25lbs off. Here is a photo of my pooch before. So thrilled with my results
Wanted to share my before and after results now that I’m mostly healed! I had 6 lbs of tissue removed on Jan 3 2018 tummy tuck and revision with lipo March 28 2018. My Dr is Kate Kuhlman-Wood in Coeur d Alene, Idaho. I highly recommend her for anything you want done! She’s an amazing person and surgeon. She cares deeply for her patients. I’m thrilled with my results. I’ve lost 10lbs since my revision and have about 15-20 to go to reach my goal. If you have any reservations about having a tummy tuck, I say go for it!! I’m 63 and waited about 35 years to have this done : )

Hi you are one brave lady and congrats on that journey. I know this was last year but I’ve been looking through RS for before pics that look similar to my body. I lost over 100 lbs and have a lot of excess skin - now at 145. Looking at your pics I have abut that amount of excess hanging skin. I was surprised to hear that was only 6 lbs of tissue... I was thinking they’d be removing like 10-12 lbs of skin. I guess it’s not as much weight as I had originally thought. Still I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made and want to get rid of all that excess skin just hanging there like a front butt. I hate it! I’ll be 53 soon and hope to have it done before I turn 54!
