I am 21 Years old and having a breast reduction and lift is all I have ever wanted. I am currently a 36D and I want to reduce my breasts to a B. All is in order for my procedure on monday but the closer this gets the more I am wondering whether or not I am making the right decision. I went for my Pre-Op today and was under the impression that I could get implants (for my breasts to have a very round look) but my doctor has advised me that this is not necessary as I have enough breast tissue. I really need some advice, I want to be sure that I am making the right decision by just getting the lift and reduction even though all I have ever wanted has been perfectly round breasts.
Any advice or words of wisdom would be much appreciated! I am freaking out a bit here...

Don't freak out - be confident in the decision you and your surgeon made. They are the expert. If you are reducing the size of your breast, I would think an implant would be counter productive. It will be a nice, natural look. They will look great! Be confident and look forward!

I advise you to have a reduction stick with your own breast tissue and not a implant., you are fortunate to go smaller,,, most women want to go bigger then implants are the answer, However your decision you have to be happy. Xx

In my opinion, the anticipation was the hardest part! Congrats on going through with the proceed. Rest up, stay healthy and take care of yourself!

Thanks for sharing your story. Just to confirm, you're getting a lift, and a reduction, but you want implants to round out the breast?Â
