Dr. Nathan is Amazing. The Best Breast Revision Surgery Experience.

Dr. Nathan exceeded all my expectations. I went to get a second opinion from Dr. Nathan after my symptoms and claims were previously dismissed by my original surgeon, who had performed a breast augmentation on me 15 months prior. My original highly reputable St. Louis surgeon made me feel like I was "crazy." Right after my 1 year post op, I started developing severe pain in my left breast. A few weeks later, I noticed my breast was high and tight. After going back to my original surgeon, I left in tears because she suggested that this was caused from working out. This did not sit right with me. A good friend suggested I see her surgeon. Feeling defeated, I thought I'd hear the same thing but still went. From the moment I walked in the door at St. Louis Cosmetic Surgery center I felt at home. The front desk staff was so pleasant. His nurse, Carol was beyond sweet, compassionate and wise. Dr. Nathan listened to me cry and comforted me. He has a kind heart and never judged or jumped to any conclusion. He was so detailed in examining me. He measured my chest, he examined me in different positions and asked a number of questions. (My prior surgeon did not even feel my breast before making a conclusion). He told me that he felt like I had a capsular contracture and suggested a revision surgery. He was very interested to see what was going on inside. He even mentioned that I had an insurance plan that actually would cover some of the surgery fees. I was unaware of this and felt like he was looking out for not only my health but also me financially. He even encouraged me to go back to my original surgeon but would be happy to do this surgery. I loved this about him. He was really looking out for me and wasn't trying to sell me on anything. I left the office feeling great - like my concerns were heard. They were able to quickly schedule me for my surgery within 3 weeks. During surgery, Dr. Nathan found that my left implant had actually ruptured and that scar tissue was forming around the implant. He was very educating and compassionate when talking with my husband and me after surgery about what he found. I truly felt like he empathized with me and was disappointed that this has happened. He is emotionally invested in his clients and truly wants the best outcome for them. So... 3 weeks post surgery and I am thrilled. My breast look way better than they did before I started having issues. Dr. Nathan never promised any false expectations. He was realistic when he said I may still have a little asymmetry from the capsulectomy on one side. However, I honestly feel like they are more symmetrical now. They look amazing. He reworked one of my pockets and they outcome is great. You can tell he took his time and takes pride in his work. I am happy, excited and confident again. I truly owe that to Dr. Nathan. Without him, I would still be walking around with a ruptured implant. I couldn't recommend him more!
