Undesired Result

I had a rhinoplasty with doctor Fialkov in September 2020 (cannot andjust date) and although he is kind, years later I am left unsatisfied with my results.

I did my research. I believe that he is a top surgeon in Toronto and I invested accordingly. My consultation was virtual as it was during quarantine but I felt confident that my desire was communicated. I wanted a feminine nose with no bump and a defined tip. He showed me a photo of a past rhinoplasty of his that I agreed would be my ideal result. I am grateful I can breathe well, but I booked for cosmetic reasons and did not get my desired outcome.

After the cast was taken off I knew the primary surgery was not enough. I wanted to significantly change the look of my nose. I believed my thick skin would take longer to heal; so I did not complain. I knew he could see the bump remained under the swelling but nothing was ever mentioned at any follow up.

Years later I still have a boney dorsal hump, I still have a very bulbous tip and my nose is still much much larger than I’d like! I hate my nose in photos and I feel as though there is minimal change. I requested my before and after and cried when I saw how such little changes cost me so much… mentally and emotionally.

I have tried to book in appointments, I was offered an in office alar reduction and when I tried to book it I was denied at the desk. I would do anything to change my result! I have called year after year, my emails are left unanswered. I cannot get an appointment to discuss a revision.
