I Had a Bad Experience

I want to share my experience with Dr. Ahmed Alp and his assistant, Tülay Çakir, regarding my revision rhinoplasty about five years ago.
I had two previous nose surgeries with the same doctor, and I chose to have a revision because I was unhappy with the previous result and experienced problems with breathing. Unfortunately, after Dr. Alp’s surgery, my nose became even more crooked, uneven, and difficult to breathe through.
Before the surgery, during consultation, a price was agreed upon and a deposit was sent. On the day before the operation, the price was suddenly increased by $5,000, with the explanation that extra cartilage was needed for reconstruction. At that moment, I was already in Turkey, having arranged travel, taken time off work, and left my children behind. This left me in a practically impossible situation, and I felt pressured to accept the additional cost, with no real alternative. Even after that, my nose remains soft, unstable, and difficult to breathe through.
When I reached out to the clinic five years after the surgery, the assistant, Tülay Çakir, told me it was “unfair” to contact them after five years and to “blame the doctor’s work,” asking where I had been all this time. She said she would find my file and forward it to the doctor.
I waited for a response, but after three weeks, I received nothing. When I messaged her again, the message was read, but still no reply was given.
I hope that anyone considering this doctor will carefully check all reviews before making a decision. Even if a doctor has many positive posts, seeing negative reviews like mine should serve as a warning. This doctor and clinic appear to prioritize financial gain over patient care, results, and humanity. His assistant, Tülay Çakir, was cold and indifferent, showing no empathy or concern for my situation.
I am sharing my experience and photos to show what I truly went through, and to help others make informed decisions. Living with this result has been very difficult, and I now face the challenge of correcting these issues. I hope my story emphasizes the importance of professionalism, transparency, and genuine patient care in surgery.
