How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Be Warned-Does Not Stand by His Work/Excess Scarring
Please be warned. First off, it kills me to write this review as both my mom and myself have been patients of Dr. High and have referred him to several others. However, my disappointing surgery results as well as how I was treated as a patient has driven me to give others a warning. In 2016, I had a breast lift with implants. The scars are rough, but he did warn me beforehand. That being said, after more research, the excess scarring he left me with was not necessary (more on that later). Less than a year after my lift/augmentation, my left implant migrated “down and out” and settled too much in my left armpit. When I went back and expressed my concern, I was given a quote for thousands of dollars on top of what I had already spent on the initial surgery. They told me that since I am a returning patient, I got a “discount” of about $250, barely a drop in the bucket. I understand that the cost of doing surgery is not cheap, but I was just asking to be made “whole”. I also understand that the anesthesiologist must be paid. However, I have had several other procedures with facial plastic surgeons and each time, they said that if I had any complication or needed any adjustments, they would stand by their work and make it right without charge. I finally agreed on a price with Dr. High. During this time, I had several medication problems and had to postpone my surgery but was promised that the price would remain. Needless to say, when I went to schedule today, there was no documentation of the price and nobody had recalled the multiple conversations I had. Catherine, the scheduling girl, kept trying to tell me that I had likely misheard or misunderstood. This was incredibly offensive and demeaning. I have referred my future mother in law for a breast reduction, my mother had her breast reduction with Dr. High as well as several consults for future surgeries, and I have had my procedure for nearly 11k. The difference of what Catherine had on file vs. what I was promised from Dr. High as well as his OR nurse was only $900, but this amount was clearly worth more to them than the happiness of a good patient. He would not even come to speak to me during this confusion and kept sending messages through Catherine. I left the practice in tears because A) Dr. High left my left breast disfigured B) I was not given what was promised to me C) Dr. High would not stand by his work and “make it right” and D) I was made to feel as if it was my fault for “misunderstanding” something. When I came home, I wanted to make sure I was not being unrealistic so I called my facial plastic surgeon and explained my situation to them. They agreed completely and would never make me pay a dime for a need revision in order to give me what I paid for. To make matters worse, the scarring (upside down T/anchor) was completely unnecessary as my breasts are young without much excess tissue. I hope that someone finds this review helpful when choosing their surgeon. I am thinking of this as a blessing in disguise in the fact that I may have avoided yet another disappointing surgery/result. Also, if you would like to see pictures of my scars, please send me a direct message as I am not comfortable posting publicly.
