I've been wanting a breast lift for many years after nursing each of my children. Recently I lost a significant amount of weight (over 100 pounds) and now I need a breast augmentation as well. I interviewed a few doctors and chose Dr. Rhett High after a comforting consultation with him and his office staff. Nothing flashy- just a great down-to-earth doctor who compassionately explained what was entailed in the procedure. He was honest and explained what he would do and what the recovery would be like. He owns his entire facility and performs surgeries every day. His experience is also what was part of my consideration. After not even a month, I was back to my full daily workouts and at 6 weeks I was completely healed. I went from being a full double D when I was overweight to less than an A after my weight loss. I told him that I wanted just to have a nice figure again and showed him pictures. I'm a full C now and I love how I look and feel. I highly recommend Dr Rhett High!
I used Dr High 12 years ago when I had a tummy tuck. He did such a great job that I had minimal scarring & people thought I had a breast augmentation. (They have never been touched surgically.)When I decided to have my thighs done, I knew I was going back to him. I met with him so he could visually inspect that area. Later I met with Tina to go over pricing & his schedule. I checked with work & was able to get the time off. (I took 2 consecutive weeks).Surgery morning Dr High & Linda (his nurse) met with me to go over the final game plan. I walked into surgery & was wheeled out after it was done. My pain has been much less than after the tummy tuck. My husband drove me to vote 2 days later. The entire staff I have had the pleasure of working with from the front office staff to Tina (the scheduler), Linda (the nurse), to Dr. High himself has been phenomenal.Tina was a pleasure to work with from the beginning, Linda has always been fast to respond with questions, & Dr. High has the very best bedside manners I have ever dealt with, which played a large part in my return to him.
I really like the size, my concerns are the incisions, breast are far apart from each other, and that I don't have cleavage at all. But other than that I like them. My doctor was very nice and polite, also very respectful. After surgery they assisted me and made me feel comfortable. Dr. High is been very helpful answering my concerns and questions at all times. Very funny and nice person. I will recommend this place.
To star this off I had really huge breasts that hurt my back, neck, and shoulders. I often would get headaches. I got approved for insurance and set my date. I had my reduction done on October 2nd, 2015. Being almost 2 weeks post op is going great. Really no pain after the surgery, which was great because I have really low pain tolerance. Updated on 14 Oct 2015: These are my huge breasts befor surgery ... 38 KK Updated on 14 Oct 2015: Just some photos of when I got home. Updated on 14 Oct 2015: Sleeping on my back is a nightmare. My back is feeling it too. I feel really good tho, about my breast size and the smallness that I only dreamed of. I also have been getting the what I call "zaps" of slight pain in my breasts that lasts only seconds. But I know they are only the nerve endings trying to find a "home". Some pictures from about 1 week or so post op. Updated on 27 Oct 2015: Well almost a month after my surgery. Got my surface stitches taken out that were in my areola, and my PS pulled off the steri strips off. I was so nervous when I knew that those stitches had to be taken out, but to my surprise I did not feel them being taken out by the nurse. She cut the knot then just pulled the stitch. The PS gave me a little tube like thing of vitamin E gel. I massage that gel directly on the incision lines after every shower I take. After my appointment I did feel a little soreness and saw some redness on the incision under my breasts. I feel great though. I was one of the lucky few that can take off atleast month or so from work to heal. I go back to work exactly a month after my surgery date. I have been kinda bored tho, trying to find things to do. I can't wait till my PS clears me to start working out. He said about another week or so. Updated on 27 Oct 2015: I forgot to add this to my previous review. I have been so constipated on and off since surgery almost a month ago. It really hurts to even go when I feel like I am constipated. If this keeps being a problem I guess I will have to start taking something for it. As for itching, that started like within the week of surgery. I know that is a sign of healing and it's ok. It really hits me at night though, more of a mind thing tho. I try to just rub the area instead of scratching, which makes it seem to spread. I still will take these side effects over not having had the surgery. I am happy and it's well worth it.
Dr. High is fundamental. I struggled with back pain for over a year. My insurance approved the breath reduction and it was performed by Dr. High. He is a perfectionist who sincerely cares about his patients and their surgery success..His office staff are extremely helpful..I definitely recommend them

After reading most all the reviews, I feel I have to share my experience. A few days before the surgery I started being scared and I thought in canceling the surgery. Most of the reviews said you will need 2-3 weeks without working and I couldn't afford that. Also I couldn't quit smoking until four days before the surgery. The office people wasn't communication with me either. I was very dissapointed but i let them know when I went for my surgery. I had the surgery Thursday January 18th. I decided to have the surgery because the asymmetry in my breast (one a large D, the other a C). The procedure took three hours and when, I wake up I didn't have any pain. I came home and as soon as I arrived I have my friends over. We talked and talked and I didn't rest. That night was bad because I wasn't used to sleep on my back. I took a pain pill that night and one more Friday night. That's it. I wasn't sore AT ALL. Not even a bruise, just in my hand ftom the IV. I was able to go to the bathroom and move around the same day. I stayed home Saturday and Sunday. I was so bored that I left the house on Monday. It was uncomfortable to drive with a people. Also I called the office to have an appointment to check the scars. The doctor saw me and he apologized for the lack of communication. The nurses apologized too and the treatment was completely different. I supposed to take Tuesday off but I decided to go half day to work. I ended staying all day long. Today it's Wednesday and I am 100% ready. I teach so it's not a hard work but I got new students today and I stayed all day on my feet. My scars look very good, no problem at all. I still have problems to take a shower but nothing else. If I knew it was this easy I would do it long time ago. I feel good and very happy with myself already. I supposed to be a 38B but I won't know until they heal. If you think in doing this surgery, don't focus in the recovery time. It's how you heal. I was able to go back to work 4 days later and I am not a person who eats very health or goes every day to the gym. I guess I heal well.Updated on 25 Jan 2013:Yesterday, it was a week since my surgery. I am completely back to a normal life. The only way I remember I had surgery is when I take a shower. My scars look so good and healthy and they don't hurt or itch at all.Updated on 29 Jan 2013:Tomorrow I am going to the doctor to remove the stitches. I had not pain at all until I worked around the house all weekend like i didn't have any surgery. However, it doesn't hurt anymore, just a little itchy because my skin is too dry on the scars. This Thursday will be the second week after the surgery. I can't wait to go to the gym because after the surgery, I had a bigger appetite and I am not moving that much.Updated on 7 Feb 2013:3 weeks after the surgery. I can't even remember I had surgery. However, yesterday I started feeling uncomfortable and I coudn't sleep. I just got my period for first time after the surgery and I think that is the reason. Also, I started the gym this week, just one day. It's not real pain so I don't want to take pain medicine. I am using the silicone strips and my scars are very thin. In some parts, you can't even see the scars.Updated on 9 Mar 2013:It's almost two months since I had the surgery and I couldn't be happy. My scars look very good thanks to the silicone strips. I wear them mostly all day. If you are thinking in wear the strips, buy several pairs, not just one.

May 2015 Dr.High did my bilateral breast implants I had breast cancer I got Thur my chem and was ready to have my new breast cause I walked around for 3 months with expanders in that hurt. I was excited to get smaller breast and get the cancer ones gone. After I started healing Every movement I was hearing water in my implants so I calls Michelle his assistant to come back to see him cause I’m supposed to have silicone not saline implants. He would not see me anymore cause my co op was over. Now 7 1/2 years later I have capsule deformed breast that sets so high up on my chest. It’s embarrassing. I’m shaped like SpongeBob I don’t go out to eat or movies. Don’t have sex anymore my life has really changed cause I chose the wrong surgeon. Should have listen never go with ur first choose look around ask questions and do research.
I went to Dr. High for a primary rhinoplasty. After interviewing several doctors, I chose to go with him based on bedside manner, experience, price, and he told me it would be an “easy surgery”. After coming out with a nose that was covered in lumps and bumps, I continued to go to him for follow up where he would refuse to acknowledge the issues with his work. My nose looked better before. I had a large bump on the side of my nose, which he flat out said was not there. After this experience, I found out that if you want a procedure done on your face, you must go to a facial plastic surgeon. After having to undergo another surgery with a facial plastic surgeon, my nose looks as it should have the first time. I cant speak to Dr. High’s work on bodies, but stay away from him if you are looking to do anything to your face.
