Nothing Short of a Nightmare!

I went to Dr. Pacheco because when tired my eye would droop. She said she could help and I trusted her. The result was devastating and I was scared I would look this way for life. My daughter's wedding was coming up in a few months. Horrible! The drooping was permanent and worse than before! I also had constant pain due to damage to the muscle. I started making the 2 1/2 hour round trip to her office every week. She was annoyed that my husband was coming with me and asked if I knew how to drive. Not much empathy. So after pats on the back, steroids and a shot of filler to mask the lid she agreed that I needed a revision. She had originally told my husband and I that if I needed the revision there would be no costs and I could get it done in the office with a local. When it came time for this discussion she said I would need general and it would cost another $1000! She asked me to take another test for field vision in case it could be covered. I already passed that test once and because I passed nothing was covered and I was charged $3,000+ and now I would have more costs for her botched surgery.
Fast foward...she told me to go somewhere else and I did. It has been 9 months since my revision by Dr. Doxanas of Towson and the results are very satisfactory. He did the surgery in his office under local and the cost was reasonable even though I had to pay another to fix her mess.
Bottom line. DO NOT use this doctor! There are plenty of others to choose from. Stay away from Dr. Pacheco!
