WORTH IT
I have the body structure most men wish they had: broad shoulder and narrow hips (Inverted Triangle body type). All my life I wanted boobs for a feminine look. I consulted with 3 surgeons and was most comfortable and confident with Dr. Kyle Song. Just had surgery today and the pain is very tolerable.

Day-2: Just finished showering
Today I saw Dr. Song for a post-op check up. It was also the first time I saw my boobs without the compression bra and my zipper jacket. I needed assistance from a nurse to remove the jacket and bra because I was still stiff and sore. Song said starting tomorrow I could either: wear a sports bra or go braless. Apparently I don't need the compression bra anymore because my skin is tight. Since I have tight skin Song also said I may not see the drop and fluff until week 6. Overall, my boobs look good for the 2nd day. Medication that was prescribed to me were: Norco, Keflex, and Scopolamine Patch. Tomorrow I can remove the patch and I can stop the Norco and take Tylenol instead. The medication makes me sleepy and bloated. I haven't made a bowel movement and if I still can't do a #2 by tomorrow I'll make myself some laxative tea.

Day 3-4
Now the pain is here: I have a sharp pain on the left side of my ribs when I rise up from sleeping. I think it's because my right arm is more dominant and I haven't stretch my left arm as much as the other. Sleeping is the worst. I have a cheap Walmart starter couch that I'm sleeping in and much of the cushioning is gone. I've stacked 4-5 pillows to make a wedge and it's still tough to rise up from them. I would wake up several times at night to go to the bathroom. I've read from other users that they feel like a turtle on their back and it is so true. To rise up I hold on to my knees and rock myself forward and it's still painful. The longest I've slept was for 2 and half hours because of the multiple trips to the bathroom and the uncomfortable sofa. I just ordered a reclining chair on Amazon so I can sleep in it. The chair is arriving tomorrow and I can not wait to have a good night sleep so I can go back to work restful the next day on Monday. The chair seems like the logical choice. Most users I see on RealSelf consistently talk about a wedge pillow but I think it's useless. Besides that, the reclining chair and wedge pillow are similar in price.
Good news: I made a bowel movement yesterday and decreased my pain med to twice a day instead of 4 times a day.
