because the higher projection, the smaller the width, which would mean I would have to go up in cc’s significantly to be able to have at least a 11-12cm width to cover my chest width.

This makes me think that my doctor might have chosen the moderate plus profile for me because I’m really tiny overall. I don’t have measurements of my chest pre BA, but I used to wear 28A bra... though. I know this doesn’t specify the chest alone, but still this makes me feel better about the final choice. Thanks

Are you going above or under the muscle???

over the muscle is a quicker recovery as it is less invasive but under the muscle should hide the implant and give it some structure so under the muscle

I just wonder why do you regret since your implant looked great? Did the implant cause you any health problem? Thanks for your answer.

For me I did not like feeling fake. You can feel a foreign body inside of you always and they also caused me pain always. I had no contracture or issues with the implants in fact after 20 years the surgeon said it was a shame to remove them because they looked great and had no issues. But I could not sleep without a bra for 20 years, always felt uncomfortable and the truth is they don’t fix self esteem issues. It wasn’t until I got older that I felt comfortable with myself on the inside and I missed so much my small frame and small breasts which were natural and just me. I suspect I had other implant related health issues but I have no way of knowing for sure. I personally wish I never did it. I now smile everyday because they are gone and I feel and look great. It is always a personal thing and at 18 I probably would not have cared about health issues or future surgeries or issues with breast feeding (mine were saline under the muscle but still crushed my milk glands and I had to supplement with formula which really saddened me). All I can say is that if I could go back I would have just loved what god gave me and worked on doing other things in my life that improved my self image and acceptance of my body. I would have stopped thinking that what others had was better than what I had. Some women do love their implants but they won’t be there forever and they will bring you a false sense of who you are. I don’t mean to preach because I remember what I felt when I wanted them but for me they were a very expensive and painful mistake and I had highly desired outcome.

That must of have been hard to have to sleep with a bra, and the fact that they caused you pain. The journey is different for everyone and I do know a few friends who have gotten them out as well, and feel so much better. I don't regret them at this moment as they do feel very much a part of me, plus I have developed a healthy sense of self from years of yoga practice. I do appreciate you sharing your experience.

just figured out how to reply to this! the low profile was a last minute choice and I am glad we ended up with them!

My best friend and I believe that low profile will be the new trend, as women are now seeking a more natural look than in the past. She is 5’3”, 120 lbs, and got 250cc low profiles. They look beautiful and natural! Hope your recovery is smooth! I’d love to see the result

They seem to work fine but I guess I have a good pain tolerance. My girlfriend who went to the same doctor after I got mine, couldn't stand not taking drugs afterwards.
