37 Years Old, 5'3" 145 Lbs, Three Kids, and 60 Lbs Gained and Lost Each Time...Nashua, NH

I've wanted this surgery for a long time now, especially after learning that skin elasticity is something you can't control with diet and exercise. In April of this year I started working out in earnest, losing about 14 pounds but really firming up everything else. We knew we were done having kids so hubby and I thought this would be a good time for the procedure. I went to three consults and chose Dr. Waldman based on his reputation, bedside manner, and experience.

I've had a shower with the help of my amazing husband, and I was so exhausted afterward I slept for 4 hours. The Percs don't give me a restful sleep, however. I feel less pain but still very restless. Drains continue to need emptying, although the amount diminishes each day. I'm starting to able to move about more freely and get up and go to the bathroom without it being a major event. I have lots of help with my kids so I consider myself very lucky that all I need to do is concentrate on healing. I'll post photos when I can stand up straighter...right now I'm still hunched over like Quasimodo.

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the holiday madness. This is my favorite time of year and I'm determined to embrace it, even if it is from the couch!
