Lip lift

2nd shot at lip lift. Zero results from one tried back in 2014 with another doctor. If you google lip lift you’ll see on average results are minimal if even noticeable.

Day 1 procedure

Getting numb was awful!!! Procedure was easy!

Numbed up really good! Took a pain pill before the numbness wore off. Pain pill didn’t fully cover the pain of night one. Even my teeth hurt. Everything from my eye sockets down felt like I had been punched in the face. Burning sensation felt like there was no skin between my nose and upper lip. All the swelling from the numbing agent had worn off before bed and the look was so beautiful. Stitches look like more than they really were due to the marker used to outline Dr. Waldman’s place to cut. I’m mumbling to talk. Eating was an embarrassing task.

Day 2

During the night I felt my lip swell into the shape of a flying saucer. I woke the next day and my lip stuck out farther than my chin! My family and I had many laughs over this. Still mumbling still not a good look eating.

Day 3

Wth?!?! Even bigger. Throughout the night I could feel it swelling more to the point my lip stuck out so far the inside of lip/mouth was dry up to my teeth. I’m loving my families reactions each morning . I also got my period during this whole process and was amazed at how I could be so bitchy and look my husband straight in the eye with a flying saucer lip. Confidence in myself and/or my marriage is on point! Swelling started to go down as the day went on. Still larger than day 2 but better shape. Starting to look like a huge version of my lip shape. I don’t really NEED pain meds anymore for the level of pain. But, the pain is a constant throbbing that’s nagging after so many hours. I’d be in tears from frustration if I didn’t take something. Still mumbling and gross to be around eating.

Day 4

Woke up with a lot of swelling in my sinuses. If I didn’t have this procedure I’d swear I had a bad sinus infection. Far more swelling this time since a relevant amount of skin was actually taken. I look like the baby filter on Snapchat. My lip looks more shapely and pretty today but still far too large. Slowly but surely the swelling is going down. Pain is bearable just annoying. The swelling in my lip has gone down enough to see how significant the swelling in my upper cheeks and under eyes is. Eating and mumbling is getting better.

Day 5

I could pass in public as normal minus the stitches. Less swelling everywhere. I’m loving the look. My upper lip still sticks out a little too far. To look at me straight on it is amazing!! I can’t wait to see the full results! Pain is pretty much gone except some aching in my sinus. No need for pain meds since day 3 and I could have lived without on day 3.

Day 8

Stitches out!

2 weeks post op

I am over the moon!
