Hi everyone! As you can see, tomorrow is the much-anticipated day for my breast augmentation *cue confetti* I will be using this as sort of a journal to track my recovery journey as well as share my updates with the community.

First for some of my stats:
Height: 5'3
Weight: 110lbs
Age: 22
Pre BA bra size: 32D (although I'm not really sure of the truth behind this, I've never had a bra that truly fits)
Implant type: Round Silicone
Incision location: inframammary
Placement: sub-fascial
Estimated CC's: 400
Estimated post-BA bra size: 32F

Throughout my life, I've had a lot of issues with my breasts, even from a young age. I know that asymmetry is normal in breasts, but around 13 there was a significant difference between mine. As I've gotten older, the asymmetry has actually increased to the point that my left breast is nearly a full cup size larger than my right. In addition to that, I completely lack any upper pole fullness which really makes filling out shirts and bathing suits depressing.

A little bit later, I'll upload some "before" photos.

I've been out of surgery for about an hour and a half and I couldn't be more thrilled! My procedure took about three hours and honestly at this point, my ribs actually hurt more than my boobs!???? Thankfully, I had no nausea or post-anesthesia crankiness. I really just felt like I had three margaritas. My initial dose of Gabapentin is wearing off so I'm starting to "sober up" if you will. I feel pretty independent right now; I've been going to the bathroom by myself with no issues, ate some delicious Cuban food, I even changed my wax in my melter! At the moment, I'm propped up on my sofa and as comfy as can be.
Currently, my pain level is about a 2 and as I mentioned before, it's mostly my upper ribs about three inches from my breast crease and the very very top of my breasts right my armpit. Thankfully, I have my super supportive boyfriend and my mom (who is a nurse) watching over me, so I'm definitely in good hands.
Post-op and waking up from the anesthesia was a smooth process, and of course the first thing I did was check out my new additions. I had my compression bra and strap on and I just blurted out "they look exactly the same!!" Of course I was mistaken and not even thinking about all of the compression.
Once I got home, I could finally investigate the goods and they were PERFECT even under all of the compression garments!! So far, I can see that I have gorgeous upper pole fullness, cleavage, and even side boob???? The only downside is that I can't shower for two days so I'm covered in marker and slightly orange from the antibacterial that they put on me.
I'm finally starting to wind down and get sleepy so I'm going to go lay in my pillow fort of solitude and get some snuggles!
