WORTH IT
Only regret is not doing this sooner! Wonderful experience all around. At 28 years old, I had saline implants over the muscle following a lumpectomy. Fast forward 20 years, gravity and breast feeding were not kind to me. I had awful rippling from the saline implants too. A breast lift with implants under the muscle was what I needed needed at the time, but....the scars. So I had the saline implants replaced with bigger silicone implants. Big mistake. They were way too big for me and while there was no rippling and they felt more natural, it didn't take long for gravity to do it's thing again. I ended up with the dreaded double bubble. I decided to have the implants removed and just see what I would be left with. Initially, I was pretty excited. It was so nice to "natural" again. I was able to sleep on my stomach etc. The novelty lasted about six months then I was ready for new boobs.
Recovery was much better than I expected. I managed to deal with the pain/discomfort with extra strength Tylenol. By day 3, I was still sore but able to manage without any pain relief. I don't do well with narcotics and I was worried about liver damage with too much Tylenol. The hardest part of my recovery was getting used to sleeping elevated on my back. I always sleep on my side.
So far, everything is healing nicely. I'm 5' and 103 lbs. so I wanted the implants to be proportionate. I was wearing a 32B before the surgery and my goal was to stay that size, just fuller. I'm a 32C now and actually very happy with the size so I hope most of my swelling is gone. I'll try to post regular updates as this site was so helpful to me when doing research.

Tried to edit my review and somehow deleted my before photo. Here are a couple of photos after my implants were removed. I tried to live with these but just couldn't. I had my breast lift/augmentation six months later.
