Breast Implant Revision, Lift and Fat Grafting. - Melbourne, FL

The first thing you should know is that Dr. Oppenheimer is the best plastic surgeon in Florida. He cares about his patients just like they are a part of his family. He made me feel comfortable and took all the time I needed to understand what I needed to have done. I have had 4 previous breast surgeries and each time the doctor took out more and more of my breast tissue. Unfortunately this left me almost no breast tissue left and my implants were capsulated and were going to break thru my skin at any moment. He not only saved me from having a double mastectomy but now I have soft breast that I am sure will be wonderful once all of my healing is done. One of my breast was larger than the other one and one of my nipples was about 2 inches lower that the other one. This did require a second surgery for a breast lift and fat graft because I did not have enough tissue left. This was a very difficult operation and I can’t imagine what I might look like if I had gone to any other doctor. I now have a very natural cleavage and once I heal from the second surgery no one will even know I have implants. He has told me that
later after everything settles if I still want a little more fat grafting he will take care of that for me. He cares about his patients and wants them to feel good about themselves. I feel he is a true artist and takes great pride in his work. He would never walk away from surgery and just say that’s just the way it is nothing else can be done. His nurse Christina is also wonderful and caring. She will give you her cell phone number and you can text her at any time and she will get right back to you. She is a kind and beautiful person inside and out. Alissa who handles the scheduling and money side for Dr. Oppenheimer is also a wonderful person. Unfortunately the Clevens Face and body management part of this business is terrible. They called me at 3:30pm the day before my surgery to tell me if I didn’t pay they $3000.00 before 5:00pm they were going to cancel my surgery. Please keep in mind I had been to their office 13 days earlier with documentation showing my insurance had already paid the surgery center over $2500.00 and at the most I would owe them less than $500.00. I ask them to look into this and let me know what actually owed. I had repeatedly tried to reach Cheryl who is the person that works with insurance but she refused to take my calls. My insurance company also called Cheryl but she refused her call also and did not send the necessary documentation to have them pay my claim. My surgery was not just cosmetic, it was medically necessary and had already been pre approved by the insurance company. When I explained this to Dave I was told maybe I owed more for the surgery than was quoted. WHAT. He did tell me he would look into this and IF I had money due me they would send me a check. I am still waiting to hear from him. Dave did suggest I come in to his office the day after my surgery to discuss this with him. First off who feels like being bullied the day after surgery? I don’t need to talk to him I just need him to send me the money Clevens Face and Body owe me. Dr. Oppenheimer is leaving Clevens face and body and I will follow him wherever he decides to practice. I would never go back to Clevens face and body. They only want one thing, your money. I hope this review will help other people make a good decision on who they trust their bodies to and where they spend their hard earned money.
