Loving My Newbies

So I am 5 days post op and can honestly say I am in love with my new boobs. The pain is much better but my incision still hurts. Went to see Dr. Fallahdar yesterday and he changed my bandages.

He was really pleased with my result and said they looked great, he also said my incision is healing perfectly and is almost completely closed up. It's about a hair thin and he did such careful incision work- it is going to be barely noticeable scarring. So fortunately no infection or no abnormalities, but I have to keep taking my pain killers because I am still sore.

I checked in for my procedure at the hospital at 8am and my procedure was scheduled for 10am. In the waiting room I saw my surgeon and gave him a quick hug and we chatted briefly. Once checked in, the nurse gave me my gown and socks to change into and asked standard questions. After a little while, my surgeon came back into the room and went over the procedure outline. We had already decided to go for silicone 525cc extra high profile over the muscle, but he said he would go sub facial (over the muscle but under the fascia) if my fascia looked good and there were no complications during the procedure. He went over risks and we signed a couple more things, he was lovely and kind and put my nerves at ease. He took some more photos and video of my breasts and I remember being really embarrassed because the nurse was also in the room at this point, so I felt like a bit of a freak show with my deflated boobs and only being 23 with no children! It all happened really quickly, I was then told to wait to be taken down, and at 9:50 the lady came and got me and we went down the elevator to the theatre. At this point I was really nervous. I came into a room and was told to lay down, there I met my anesthesiologist. There was a man assisting her, a guy called Mike, who was so lovely. He kept calling me darling which made me feel more at ease. They then put in my IV and gave me a tiny bit of my anesthetic and I felt really relaxed. The next thing I knew she gave me an oxygen mask and told me to take some deep breaths and said "it's just oxygen, don't worry we aren't putting you to sleep yet." Well, that's the last thing I remember because then I woke up in the same room except when I looked at the clock 2 hours had passed. Instantly I started freaking out, my chest felt really big and I had quite a bit of pain. I remember welling up with tears and moving my head from side to side and they told me to relax and that the procedure had gone perfectly. I asked them why I felt pain and I remember them saying they had given me a ton of morphine and after a couple of minutes the pain completely diminished and I was as high as a kite. I got wheeled back to my room and put on my bed and was told to rest. I remember looking down and seeing my boobs in the sports bra and they looked so big and amazing. I only had bandages over my crease incisions and it was a really flattering recovery bra and I felt so happy seeing them. My partner literally arrived 10 minutes after I got back to my room which was perfect, he sat with me and I remember him telling me they looked great. I was so out of it on morphine though that I could barely remember any of this. I do remember my surgeon coming in and I gave him a huge hug and said they looked so beautiful. He told me that a hug was an excellent sign and was so sweet about it. I ate some food and a few hours passed and finally I was told I could go home but had to rest immediately once arriving home. I left the hospital with my boyfriend and remember almost falling asleep on the way home, I could barely walk and keep my eyes open. I got home and the morphine started to wear off and I felt severely nauseated. I probably threw up about 15 times that evening and into the night and the next morning when I woke up the nausea had gone away. I have since started my antibiotics. My boobs are quite high and feel pretty sore around the incision area even though they don't really look sore. I get quite bad twinges of burning pain around the incision sites if I move too quickly or the wrong way, but this is totally normal. It's only day 3 of my recovery so it's still early days but my boobs look amazing and it truly is down to the skill of my surgeon, the implant he chose has made it look like i've had a boob lift without actually needing one and I cannot believe my before and after photo so far. He used dissolvable stitches and surgical tape so I will have tiny scars and he was the best. My mom had him for her tummy tuck and she would not let anyone else do my breast implants, and I am so glad he was my surgeon. My sincerest gratitude goes out to Mr. Fallahdar and everyone at the Botonics clinic.
