I am both nervous and excited. Tomorrow is tbe big day. I am getting Laser Lipo of the Abs and Flanks. I have been dealing with this stomach for way too long and I have lost over 30 lbs in the last two years, but no luck in my stomach. I have not told anyone , just my husband and one bf. I feel people are so quick to judge, and this decision is about how I feel. Well off to bed, need to be there for 9:00 a.m. I took two days off from work, I hope it's enough, if not I work from home. I will provide an update tomorrow night on how I am feeling..

I didn't tell anyone either. It really is no one's business. Only my husband knew. I have two early teen girls (13 and 14) and I didn't want them to know, either. I told them I had a few moles removed with a "procedure". They didn't know any different. I don't want to project body image issues on them, since they have a healthy view of their bodies! I only had three hard days. 4th day I was right up and didn't even take Tylenol, so with so little downtime, it was easy to keep it private! Good luck.

Thanks, now I have heard may people that don't tell anyone. It is such an invasive procedure anyways, so it's already personal enough. :-)

Your day 10 pic really encourages me. I'm on day 3 and the bruising is killing me...I notices that you had a lot of swelling in the lower pelvic area...did you ever ice it?

Hi, I didnt ice it at all. The swelling went down a lot in the first week post-op. Just drink a ton of water, it really helps with recovery. At day 3 I was still very swollen, and sore, but then it gets better quickly. :-)

Well I survived! I am sore but that is expected. I am looking forward to taking my shower soon and washing my garment. Otherwise the only bad part was getting the local anesthetic. I haven't had a real good chance of looking at my abs and flanks as we lost power last night and I was mostly resting.. Will keep you updated.

Pretty amazed!! Only two days post-op. Swelling in public area is totally normal right now! Other than that, feeling happy!!

34 Yr Old Small Uneven Breasts - Guilford, CT

I started a small a cup, but right side was smaller than left. Donor sites were abs, flanks, small spot inner upper thighs. One month post op, I was a b cup and looking wonderful. I'm now 3 mos post op, but have lost some retention. Breasts are much more even in size. Incisions are small and healing well....
