45 Yr Old Mom of 2...38 DDD - Greensburg, PA

I had 2 small areas...1 one each boobie ..that were stitches that hasn't absorbed. When I went to see the dr last month he wasn't worried about them saying they would see eventually get absorbed.....well he was wrong! The skin did grow over. They were always sore though. I started to run low grade temp and achy all over so thought I was getting g the flu. The next day my boobies were red and hot. I left it go for awhile because I was still sick thinki g the flu...I finally called the PS on Tuesday this week and they had me come right in. I saw the.PA and she dug out the 2 stitches.the one immediately started draining gookie stuff. I was put on Bactrim. ..the one is getting better but my left one is as red if not redder and the reddness seems to be spreading and it is rock hard!!! I called the drs office and they told me to continue to take antibiotics. I really thought since everything was all closed up I was safe from problems!!

Well tomorrow marks 3 weeks post op and I think they look pretty good! Still have considerable amount of swelling on sides from lipo! That has really been the worst for me...most of my pain is actually on sides where bruises and hard spots are at. I do have some around the nipple area but other than that the boobies are pain free! I had a stitch work it's way out of nipple that was to dissolve. I called Dr and they said I could come in and they'd cut it out but I work at dr office so I just had dr there do it.
The steri-strips have started coming off on underboob incision, but the T-junction is still covered which I am glad..longer the better!! The scarring looks pretty good so far!
I still can't find a comfy bra but I am thinking it's because I am still so sore on sides..hoping that gets better soon cause I have bought some cute ones I can't wait to wear!
