Disappointed in Facelift for Deep Acne Scars

$15,000
The doctor and staff were absolutely wonderful. They’re very organized and friendly. The problem is that we paid almost $15,000 for a facelift to correct deep acne scars. The fat under the chin is mostly gone where he did lipo. The facelift, well, it tightened the skin very well but all it did was move the deep pits and scars higher on the face.

You need injectable fillers in the areas where you have deep scars to fill that area out. The facelift looks good but acne scars are something you can never really get rid of. I know this because I have them myself and had everything done to help minimize them.

Do you know how long the fillers last? What type did you get and is
It expensive? Thanks for your input.

It can be pricey but depending on what you get you will see longer lasting results if you get radiesse or sculptra. For you I reccomend sculptra which can be one or two treatments. Sculptra generally last up to two years. It’s not cheap but then again nothing really is. They only cover sculptra for hiv positive men with facial atrophy. Fami last forever by they need to suck fat from somewhere in your body and then into your facial muscles.

To piggy back on my previous answer. Insurance will only cover up to a certain amount for hiv positive men with lipoatrophy. Usually it’s a discount program but can save up to 700 dollars last time I checked which is better than nothing. If your hiv negative like me and have good health look into FAMI.
