Exceeded Expectations in All Areas

I spent about two years looking into the facelift procedure. I had consultations with 3 surgeons, all in Mexico (US prices are preposterous!). From the initial video consultation, I just felt confident with Dr. Nashielli, she is just truly the nicest person. There was no pressure, just calmly projected expertise and experience and I felt comfortable immediately.
GUADALAJARA
On the flight in, when the plane braked on the runway my glasses slid off the empty seat next to me. I looked under the seat for them for a bit, couldn't find them. The middle aged Mexican woman in the aisle seat looked at me, she didn't speak English but I held up my fingers in circles to my eyes to indicate what I was doing. When the plane stopped, she went forward about five rows and recovered my glasses for me! This kindness was a harbinger of the great people of Guadalajara, very warm and welcoming. I never felt anything but hospitality and warmth. Not once did I feel uneasy, even when walking alone to Walmart and a nearby farmacia.
LUIS
I stayed at Casa Galicia recovery house, and Luis was at the airport holding a sign with my name on it. He drove me to all my appointments, translated at the pre-surgery checkups. Highlight: singing along with Steely Dan "whoa, no, Guadalajara won't do" per my request! I consider him a friend.
Emma
Luis' wife Emma, the perfect hostess / cook / nurse runs the recovery house. I still miss her cooking, and her kindness and care and empathy will never be forgotten!
SURGERY
I was strangely not nervous at all, the hospital was honestly nicer that any I have been to in the US and my private room was almost too spacious! Everything was calm and smooth as the general anesthesia took effect. Spent the night in the hospital, then off to Casa Galicia. The private room and bath were comfortable, and the afternoon rains were soothing. I highly recommend CG!!
The first couple of days were a little rough, I'm a side sleeper so that was hard, but the motorized tilting bed made it easy to find 'my' angle. Day two was the worst, I was having some pain from the bandaging but I texted Dr. Nashielli and she immediately met me at the hospital and took care of things. Amazing service! I'm not going to lie it isn't without some pain, but the process, for me, was absolutely worth it.
RESULTS
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but I never thought I would look 'just like me' 20 years ago! People I have know for years tell me I look really good, and I just say I lost some weight and they never suspect surgery.
I can't recommend Dr. Nashielli enough. Her kindness and expertise and artistry are amazing.
