Dr. Mandel and his skilled team performed a diastasis recti repair for me. I had a very thorough consultation with him to discuss my options and he gave me realistic expectations of the results I could expect. The pricing was very upfront with no pressure to schedule right away. I was especially drawn to pick Dr. Mandel as my surgeon not only because of his board certifications, expertise and schooling but because of his background in the arts. His goal was not just restoring functionality in my core again but making sure that it looked great – and it does! Yeah this isn’t diastasis repair. This is called a tummy tuck. You had skin removed so that makes it a tummy tuck

Hello! Actually my abdominal wall was sewn back together from sternum to pubic bone due to my large muscle gap (muscle repair). Unfortunately this left additional extra skin so that was removed to make the overall result more aesthetically pleasing (tummy tuck part). Not having a functioning core made day to day tasks painful and uncomfortable which prompted me to undergo surgery in the first place

You absolutely had a diastasis recti- that prtotrusion at the bottom of you torso is not just skin.
This repair also decreased your risk for any future hernias as well. I think they did a great job and you look fantastic.
