I am 2 weeks post op and happy with my results so far, it will only get better! I opted not to take any pre-meds for discomfort and only had the lidocaine injection. There were a few sensitive spots that were uncomfortable but my dr applied some pressure with his free hand and that was all that was needed. I was in and out of the office about 1 hour start to finish and was able to drive myself home.

Where you taped up and how long after did you take tape off?

I only had a small piece of tape and gauze over the single incision that I changed daily. Since its been so long I dont remember...but I remember I only had to wear the garment 24 hrs/day for a few days and then was told I could take it off when I go to work and just to wear it when I was home.

I just realized I had comments to respond to! I used Dr. Monte Slater in Warner Robins GA. I will say, the facility made me a little nervous and didnt seem equipped to do major procedures. Since I only took the lidocaine (and the price was right) I just went with it and everything went great the staff were all great. I am now a little over a year out and the only evidence of a procedure is a small spot under my chin that is a little hard but not noticeable unless I feel for it.
