Monte Slater, MD, FACOG

I had a previous lipo procedure from a dr that did a terrible job and was only out for the money but Dr Slater fixed the flaws and although Im sore and swollen I am happy. His staff (Gail, Jill and Cassie) are phenomenal. I was nervous and they made me feel like family. Dr Slater's bedside manner was awesome in that he told me everything up front and was patient with me and answered every question I had. I can be very analytical and a high maintenance person and the entire staff made me feel comfortable. They were focused but had a sense of humor that kept me laughing. The price was fair for the work that he did. The facility is clean and professionally run. I also receive hrt therapy from Dr Slater and he has balanced my hormones and I feel great. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring, doctor and staff who will take care of you and listen to your needs. Aesthetic Body Sculpture is the place to go. They have an office both in Atlanta, Ga and Warner Robins, Ga.

I chose Dr. Monte Slater because of his awesome reviews and the fact that he was local. At first I was a little worried that I had too much fat for him to take out with good results but he did not disappoint. If I’m correct h took out a total of 4000cc which was like 3 full bags and 1/4 of a bag. I saw immediate results once I was coherent. Like many others I was given Benadryl and Valium to help me relax and because I stayed up 27 hrs straight I knocked right out. Kibby was my nurse and was super friendly and informative, she even commented hi I have a but that many people pay them to get. I had my upper and lower abdomen, flanks, lower and middle back (bra steak area) and so far I love the results.

I went in for my follow up. I was super sore and super itchy. Why so itchy omg. I already see a huge difference even with all of the swelling. Dr. Slater said I would be even smaller in two weeks.

Extremely sore and the swelling is unreal. I find it hard to reach behind my back to wash myself , so my husband has been doing it for me. Everyone says the see a difference especially from the sides as you can now see my hips a lot better.

Almost 4 months post op.

I was on line looking at different doctors all the ones I searched for here in Georgia had bad reviews. So o txt a girl I use to work with ask dis she know a good doctor from here area she told me Dr.Slater. So I looked him up...did my researches & liked what I seen & read. Was very scared but after arriving on my surgery date Cassie Gail Kiby & of course Dr.Slater himself assured me I was going to be fine & do great. Normally when a doctor tells me that I'm still very nervous but when they told me it was different very real very sincere. I mean I wasn't even scared anymore. They gave me a benedrayl & Valium to take which I stay up the night before so I would be very sleepy & I was...I was sleep but alert when they tell me to turn but I only remember turning on 1 side & remember a lil pitch that was so quick it wasn't nothing it was just enough for me to open my eyes for a very quick second & back to sleep I was. I woke up by time they were almost done with my butt....I knew they were inserting something but didn't feel a thing that only lasted about 2 or 3 mins then I was putting on my garment going home. Dr.Slater is a blessed heaven sent man.. the whole staff is very honest & his work is phenomenal...I would definitely go to him if I ever needed a nothing else he provides.. I had pure lipo & bbl

Round 2 with Dr. Monte Slater….both rounds I was super excited & happy…I was nervous again as I was the 1st time…but they know how to calm you all the way down & make you at ease. Highly recommend

Round 2 stomach had put up a little from me eating crazy & caught Covid & lost some of my back side so I made up my mind to go back…they really know how to put you at ease if your anything like me Scared of Surgeries

Today is day 1 post op and I am excited to see the results. Right now it's too soon to tell but I am confident that the team did a great job. The staff is nice and helpful. I texted the office manger at 8PM and she promptly replied. That's what I call customer service. I haven't taken any full body pics in a long time because I was unhappy with my body. I think videos tell a better story since when I looked at some pics, I could tell that some people even needed any work done.

Yesterday I had purelipo done on my tummy and back. I read a few reviews where it said you would be awake but I was knock out. I was given a Valium and a benadryl and I'm pretty sure that did it for me. The doctor used lidocaine to numb the areas and I honestly didn't feel a thing or remeber anything for that matter since the nurse said I kept asking was it gross. After the procedure I felt fine I was talking and talking and everything. Then they put the garment on me. It's quite tight but it's fine I just feel like a mummy. There is a whole at the bottom so i can pee and poop. Sorry. I just think is funny. I'm not having any pain. Just annoyed about the restricted movement. I'm looking forward to taking a shower. Getting out of bed was a task. I literally had to slide out of bed. My god baby who is six kept me company but since she sleeps so bad she made a little pallet on the floor. Unfortunately since I was sliding out of bed I'm pretty sure I landed in her. Not bad though cuz she was still asleep. Laying down and being awake sucks but I can walk just fine. My sister has a soda that reclines so I think if I still feel to stiff tonight I'll sleep on the sofa. My doctor was Monte Slater in Warner Robins. The clinic is a little ducked off and a little older but clean. The staff was very friendly and to my understanding it the husband who is the doctor, the wife and a sweet little nurse Kibby. I didn't take any before photos but I did take a video since I thought a video would show everything more accurately. Once I'm not too stiff I'll add a video of me in the garment as well. I don't know how I look since it hasn't even been 24 hours but I figured id share what I could since reading everyone else reviews help me make this decision. By the way I tried to eat yesterday. I couldn't. Not sure if I'll be able to eat anything today but hopefully I will. I'm drinking lots of water and I'll find a portion bar or something because I know I need to eat.

As promised. Video with garment and wrap, just garment and naked. My back looks amazing. Minimal bruising. I'm waiting for my garments to dry so I'm wearing a cheap one. I'm ready to wrap back up. I had a lot of bandages. Thank goodness my sis helped. Knowing me I just would have sat down and started crying because it couldn't get it off. You will for sure want a loved one to help. I almost did this on my own. I would have been miserable.

Super stoked. Ms. Gail called me to check on me. I thought that was super nice. I'm sure they don't have to but I can tell this is how they treat everyone. I'm breathing for a few before I wrap back up. Still happy with the results. Moving a bit more sleeping well. I have an appointment tomorrow so they can check me out. Excited.

Today makes 2 weeks and I have my first synergy massage. I will add a video of what my body looks like and also me getting dressed really quickly. I'm actually feeling more comfortable in the garments so thats great. I've added a few extra layers since the zipper was bothering me a bit. I'm still very happy with the progress and the team. Dr. Slater loves the work and says I'm healing perfectly. One thing I can't wait for is my tummy to get back soft. Dr. Slater said that could take up to 4 months, that's fine. I look so snatched in all the garments, I'm wondering why I have so many and never wore any before any way I feel great. I can lift and play with my God daughter who is 7 yrs old. No pain what so ever.

Dr. Slater, Kibby and Gail are Superheroes!!! My entire experience, from consultation to post-op was absolutely SUPERB! Dr. Slater was kind, understanding, thorough, professional and extremely patient and attentive to my needs. His bedside manner is so calming that all of my fears and hesitations were short-lived. I am on love with my new sculpted body and I have Dr. Monte Slater and his amazing team to thank for it!!!

I'm a medium sized, active (ride horses), single, 60 yr-old woman who was sick to death of leaking every time I coughed or sneezed. I spoke to my gynecologist and a urologist, and decided before I went to something as extreme as surgery that I'd give ThermiVa a shot. I had 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart, and from the first treatment (late August) to today, which is Thanksgiving weekend, I think I've had one teeny leak, but I can't even remember how long ago. I think the results were very, very good, and I'd do it again if I started to develop stress incontinence again. There was no pain, although the wand did get hot and I indicated my maximum temperature tolerance when it felt hot. They noted my chart and that's the highest they would take it during my treatments. Takes about a half hour, there's no numbing cream or shots or anything, they just rub it around the vulva and exterior of the vaginal area, then inside all around and you're done. Piece of cake.

I had my first of 3 ThermiVa treatments in Aug of 2015 and finished a couple of months later, so it's been about 1 1/2 years and I notice return of the mild stress incontinence. I have either a cold or allergies and I'm sneezing with some coughing and I'm leaking sometimes. In fairness, the doctor told me I would probably want to repeat the treatments in about a year. I'm looking into something that lasts longer, since it's not financially feasible to spend that much every year or so just to manage the effects of stress incontinence. I'm looking for information on V-lase if anyone has input to offer.

Hello everyone!!! I've been roaming the site for a while and finally made my decision to go for it!!! I have an appt 9/23/15 To pay deposit to lock in date with Dr. Boutte in Snellville Ga. For Oct 1st 2015!!!! I'm getting Smart Lipo to full abdomen and flanks. Would love to have a in house Dr. To do home visits.

Ok! I've scheduled 3 different times with same Dr. And something ALWAYS happened to steer me away. I was going in today for a consult and go ahead and pay in full for my October date. I received a phone call 10 minutes before arriving in like I said before something always happens that Steers me a way so I didn't make it instead I ended up calling Dr Montes later I'm really excited I've done my research read reviews seem very warm and welcoming his wife Gail and also the assistant I meet with them on September 30th and then I would be able to confirm a date from there super excited

Ok you dolls I switched doctors and went with Dr. Monte Slater On Roswell Rd. I did my blood work Last week and was cleared. I now have to do Mammogram because I've decided to do fat transfer to the breast. Just want them fuller and rounder up top maybe 1/2 cup size. I paid my deposit and date set for the 14th of October 2015!!! Excited and slight nervous now. A little bit about Dr. Slater procedure. It's tumescent Lipo which is minimally invasive. Your incision are so small they are NOT stitched together. They will drain for about 24hrs. They will close also in a day or 2!! You're suppose to walk 1-2 miles that NEXT day after which I think is awesome you can do so. You will feel like you've had a long gym workout. So shouldn't be painful. You're NOT put to sleep but will be numbed and given a concoction to help you relax and you may drift off. Dr. Slater was VERY informative!! I LOVE Mrs Gail (looks GREAT) Nassey and Kassie were very nice and helpful as well felt very comfortable with everyone there. Looking forward to the 14th. Will keep you posted through my New beginning.

Hello Dolls everything was changed due to ultrasound!! Will due a biopsy tomorrow. Dr. Says she's 95% sure it isn't cancerous. Just EXTRA tissue. So I decided to do a biopsy to be on the safe side!!

Just in case you didn't know wanted to definitely inform you the make me heal vitamins you buy online I take the same vitamins daily except I buy my herbal vitamins from luckyvitamin.com and they're only like $12 for like 180 pills and it's the same EXACT ingredients that's in the makemeheal vitamins that cost us $80!!! The only difference you will have to buy your bromelain separately which is only $4 a bottle! Food for thought

Hello doll today is day 1 post op I'm really excited that God!!! I felt NOTHING during the procedure maybe the last few minutes I woket up and left a little pressure OMG I'M super excited have to keep on garment 24 hours recommended then shower will definitely post pictures after!! The staff was extremely nice from the doctor' assistant doctor to the receptionist to the anesthesiologist everyone truly love the vibe felt very comfortable definitely at home I could not ask for more! Hello beauties!! I've been all over the place doing everything and forgot to update!!

After losing 100 pounds over the course of 3 years, I needed to have some work done. I have been hesitant to post about my life. I'm such a private person. I planned to change careers and go into the military; but, the military had a pay freeze and then started downsizing. So I ended up with a mini TT that still changed my life. If I had it to do all over again, I would. And, I'd still choose Gail and Dr. Slater at ABS.

The environment is welcoming. Secluded. Everybody there was friendly, the staff AND the other patients. It was almost like a secret bond.

I decided rather quickly to have the surgery done. That's just the type of person I am. I knew that it needed to be done when I realized the impact my naked appearance had on me. Don't get me wrong, I'm badd; but, sometimes, I just felt I could do better. Like the mistakes of my past were affecting my future prospects-yeah, I mean men too. (Looking at these pictures now-whoa! I wasn't even close to badd. But as the saying goes, if I aint, let me think what I think.)
I went in for a consult and secured the next available surgery date. I even attempted to bargain to get another lady's slot (she wouldn't give it up). I can't say I was mad at her. And when I ran into her on one of my follow up dates, she looked amazing too.

Have your money together ahead of time. I used a combo of no interest financing-which is completely paid off now. (Thank you Lord!!!)
I had a couple of visits prior to my surgery for counseling. Gail was soothing. She even gave me pointers. The day of, Dr. Slater even let me play my own music from my iPhone during the surgery. I would woke up one time sang a lil bit of my song and was gone again. The nurse anesthetists is worth her money. I didn't feel a thing. I came home from surgery the same day because my bestie is also amazing. The next day, I had a follow up appt. that went well. Take your meds on time to reduce feelings of pain.
Down time:
Week One-I was on my back. I needed help with everything. Even using the bathroom. My bestie loves me. Changing those bandages requires a level of courage. I didn't have any drains. Everything is relative after that.
Week Two-I'm touching and doing stuff I had no business attempting. I really thought I could. I put on a wig and a dress and got out the house. I also had another follow up. I can't believe how fast I healed. This process taught me so much about myself.

Week Three-I could see the difference. I was amazed. More importantly, I was happy with what I saw in the mirror. I even put on my cute post-op panties.

The scar healed very well and is at the bikini line with minimal scarring.

I will add other posts w/ additional pics and other posts with advice for anyone considering surgery. Although, I will say this now this now- if you are not happy with who you are at your core right now, nothing you do to your body will change that. Trends come and go: Big butts/little butts, fake breasts/ natural breasts, full lips/thin lips. BE TRUE TO YOU. To thine own self be true (Shakespeare).

I think my smile says it all. I am very pleased with the results.

Dr Slater's Thermitight gave 30+ burns/blisters and white spots on thighs. He gave me Mederma and vitamin C to treat burns. Legs have terrible scars and pitting all over where probe contacted skin!!!

I am 2 weeks post op and happy with my results so far, it will only get better! I opted not to take any pre-meds for discomfort and only had the lidocaine injection. There were a few sensitive spots that were uncomfortable but my dr applied some pressure with his free hand and that was all that was needed. I was in and out of the office about 1 hour start to finish and was able to drive myself home.

I just realized I had comments to respond to! I used Dr. Monte Slater in Warner Robins GA. I will say, the facility made me a little nervous and didnt seem equipped to do major procedures. Since I only took the lidocaine (and the price was right) I just went with it and everything went great the staff were all great. I am now a little over a year out and the only evidence of a procedure is a small spot under my chin that is a little hard but not noticeable unless I feel for it.
