I wasn’t planning on posting my own review, however I have found this app to be so incredibly helpful for me and choosing to proceed with my surgery, I figured maybe my story can help someone too. I’ve always wanted to have my boobs done, but I wanted to wait until after babies. My husband and I feel our family is complete now with our 2 boys (ages 2 and 3.5) so I can officially clock out of baby making! Anyways, I decided a few months ago that I was ready for a change. I was holding on to extra baby weight, my boobs were saggy and uncomfortable, my confidence was in the pits and it was affecting my life - I knew I had to do something. I set a goal of losing 40lbs and rewarding myself with a boob job! I began my weight loss journey with the help of weight watchers and an amazing gym, and started to finally lose the weight.
So here I am. 39 lbs down scheduled for surgery in 4 days! This process has been kind of a roller coaster for me. My consultation with the first surgeon I met with was OK, but After meeting with my surgeon and seeing all of his work, I was 100% confident I wanted to go with him. I booked my surgery that day! After seeing the vectra 3D images and starting to put a plan together I was BEYOND excited. About a month later I had my pre op appointment, and I’m not sure why but my nerves really hit me. It’s like I froze and forgot all of my questions I intended on asking, so I left there feeling very anxious and not 100% confident I was making the right choice. What really helped me was going through all of the other ladies’ reviews and posts here on Real Self. Seeing other women with similar build/shape as me going for the same procedure and getting beautiful results was very encouraging. Anyways, I’m hoping that by documenting my journey I can help someone else feel better about starting theirs! Here’s some of my basic info:
30 yr old // 5’7” // 150lbs // current 34C
The plan is to do a breast lift with 400cc low profile implants, but the implant size can change in surgery depending on his discretion.
I’ll upload some before photos, and then in 4 DAYSSSS I’ll be able to post some surgery day pics!! So excited!!

The night before!!!

Not gonna lie, today has been rough. I’ve been very nervous and anxious all day and feel like my mind was racing. (It doesn’t help that I had a bunch of work to get caught up on!) My advice to anyone approaching their surgery day is to prep as much as you can in advance. Then you will be able to save the final days to focus on taking care of yourself and your nerves. I’m so excited to get this over with and start healing! ??????
I took a couple before pics to have something to compare it to.

Everything went well this morning and to be honest, I’m so glad it’s over! I had pretty bad anxiety for the last few days and have been super nervous!
Anyways, the whole experience went by so fast. Waking up I was in tons of pain in my chest. The strongest pain for me was my actual sternum bone, maybe it wasn’t the bone, but that’s what it felt like. It hurt to take a deep breath and basically do anything. Thank goodness for the muscle relaxer and Percocet! Anyways I am already so happy - my rib cage feels so free without my saggy baggies drooping down on them! Here’s a couple pics of the closest look I could get at the new girls!
