Five months later!

I can't believe it's already been five months! I'm very happy with my results and with the overall experience I had with Dr. R. I actually just had my nose done with him as well and am 5 days post-op from that.

After five months it's hard to even remember what it was like to have smaller boobs... sometimes I do wish I had gone slightly bigger than 310cc but most days I absolutely love them.

Post op day 10

Nothing much to report! The girls are slowly starting to settle down and the bruising is looking better. Had my first post-op appointment two days ago and everything looks good! I've been given the okay to start taking vitamins/supplements again, as well as to start sleeping on my side.

I haven't been on RealSelf much in the past few days because I've been finding it hard not to compare my results with other people's. For a while I was feeling pretty down/having second thoughts and wondering if I made the right decision. But looking at photos to see my own progress from before to how they currently look has helped. I've begun the twice daily massages, so hopefully that will help them drop a little!

Post Op Day 1

Nothing much to report today... going stir crazy! Slept like a rock last night. I didn't buy a wedge pillow or one of those chair pillow things with the arms; instead I just piled up a bunch of pillows in a chair shape so that I could sleep at a 45 degree angle. My neck pillow has been a LIFESAVER. I wouldn't have gotten any sleep without it. Woke up once around 3am to take a muscle relaxer, but other than that I slept for a solid 9 hours.

This morning I woke up feeling fantastic, a little soreness/morning boob but nothing too crazy. Did my makeup and hair, took a break to ice the girls, watched some tv, etc. I hate sitting around and doing nothing, so my boyfriend picked me up and we ran some errands. Definitely still weak and it's hard to open things like doors and pill bottles, but I'm not completely helpless. Also, the most difficult thing is trying to get up out of bed without using arms/pectoral muscles!

I can't wait until these tatas drop and I can stop wearing the torture band... what a pain!

Also, I'm surprised that Dr. R didn't call to check on me last night; it seems like most doctors or at least a nurse will call to check on patients after their surgery. His office did call today to confirm my post op appointment, but that was all.
