I've wanted a BA ever since I can remember. Like many women here on RealSelf, I've struggled with self-confidence as a result of having small breasts, but it wasn't until recently that I discovered that my breasts are actually "tuberous". This was a huge surprise to me, and quite a shock to my bank account when I learned my PS wanted to do a lift as well as BA!
I've been saving for a few years now and luckily I work from home, so now is as good a time as any! I'll be traveling to Wilmington, NC for the procedure (thank goodness this is only about 1.5 hours from my home) and my mother will be going with me. After consulting with my PS, I think we're going to go with approximately 300cc HP silicone. I'm hoping not to be too big because my main concern is shape, not size.
I can't believe I'll have boobs in a little over a week!

Less than a week and there'll be no more sad little boobies! I'm getting super nervous... self-doubt is starting to creep in and I'm incredibly paranoid that my results won't meet my expectations. I trust my surgeon but for some reason my brain is convinced I'll end up with frankenboobs.

HI!! How exciting!! You are having your surgery very soon. "Frankenboob" is a common look after having a lift. It goes away,,,and its not as scary as it looks. Self-doubt is normal too. Don't you worry,,,trust your surgeon. As long as you did your research on your doctor...you will be in good hands. The whole thing is life changing. In a great way!!! Im excited for you!! Don't worry about scarring either. Follow your PS instructions to the letter....and be vigilant with your scar therapy,,,,You are going to look so beautiful!!! Keep us posted. So exciting!
