Breast Fat Transfer

Breast Fat Transfer

Mummy of3
I have been researching about breast fat transfer for a long time. I’ve always wanted a breast enlargement, but the idea of foreign objects in my body scared me, even more when I came across Breast Implants Illness. So I decided for breast fat transfer instead. I thought about traveling to US to the two most successful fat transfer specialists Dr Bednar or Dr Burns, but it was just too expensive. In the end I decided to stay close to home and I chose dr Sterne who does also reconstructive surgery and performs lots of explants. During consultation I requested 400cc each breast and he said he would have tried. I’m a size 14 with bmi of 28. Dr Sterne is a lovely man, he will put at ease and always makes you feel comfortable.

Hi, is Dr. Burns located in dallas, tx? Can you please give me his full name or website. I am thinking to have my breast done too but Charlotte, NC is not an option for me. Thank you.

The day of surgery 06/02/2019

Mummy of3
I arrived at the hospital at 6:40 by taxi. Fasting from 8 pm the previous night. I thought I was going to be first so that I could leave the same day, but as there were other priorities I went into theater at 1:30 pm. I ended up staying overnight for this reason, which was great!! The nurses were so lovely and took really good care of me. I'm glad that I stayed and it was at no extra cost. The hardest part was the after anaesthetic, I was feeling sick and even though I was starving I couldn't manage more than a bite. I tried to eat as much as I could. Dr came to see me and I must confess that I was a bit disappointed and sad that he only put 300cc into each breast as I was really hoping for 400cc due to my weight and my excess fat on my abdomen area and love handles. Anyway , it's done now and I can only hope to retain as much as possible. I went home the next day after seeing the doctor for the last time. I went off medication after 48 hours. Pain was really manageable for me. The breasts feel tight with minimal bruising. I had a just a little look to my donor areas and it doesn't seem to be any massive bruising, they are tender and sore. Regarding garments, I had to buy my own garments and this was a challenge. Dr said to buy Spanx, but I found this not compressive enough and maybe they'll be good after 4-6 weeks. So after returning a couple of them, I bought a Marena Stage 1 surgical compression garment, just above my knees as I'm not having lipo on my legs, otherwise you will need one up to your ankles. They've got a hole in the groin for when you go to the toilet, so you don't have to pull up and down the garment on the painful areas. Sleeping is hard, I got extra cushions and try to sleep at 45 degrees. I can just sleep on my back. No gym or heavy chores. I'm on a high carbs, high fat diet. Prior to surgery I've lost some weigh anyway, so now I can indulge a bit. I started small, from a deflated A cup and I know I will one more procedure to achieve a size that is more proportionate to my lower body. I only hope to retain as much as possible, otherwise it won't be worthy the pain, the money and the stress!!

Day: swell has gone down and so have my boobs

Mummy of3
Finally I had a proper shower today! I wash the garment and put it on the radiator to dry. Bruises are not too bad, just still quite tender and painful at touch. The swelling to the breast has gone down and I already see a significant decrease in size. When I look at them from the top, I don't see much difference to how they looked before. This is the hardest part of breast fat transfer. I'm at home doing nothing and I find myself looking at my boobs 1000 times a day, asking myself how muck more I will loose..This is just day 5 and I still have a long way to go. I will go down even more inevitably.

looking at your post from Feb 12th, I can really see the difference. You've go more definition and volume. You just don't notice it yourself, but there is a change. To achieve the goal you want, you might have to have the procedure again. I personally think they look great!
