3 Week Post Update
Today is 3 weeks since my surgery. Just updating with some pics. I feel great! They are softening a little bit and are so much more round shaped now. I’ve been wearing my surgical bra religiously, I actually find it pretty comfortable. Still have my surgery tapes on, they are not even peeling off a little bit- I’m curious what my scars look like but I’ll keep them on and let them do their thing. I see my surgeon again in about 2 weeks for a check in.

Natrelle Inspira SoftTouch 310cc (27y/o, 5'4", 125lbs, no kids)
I've wanted to get breast implants for years- ever since I realized how common the procedure was and how affordable it could be for me. For a while I was uncertain if I should wait to have the procedure until after having kids, but as I don't plan to start that next chapter until my 30s, I decided the time was right to do this for myself.
I've always had small breasts and it's always been an insecurity. I was a 34A and would only ever wear push up bras, but still experienced gapping at the top- which I hated!
I'm very active so it was important to me that my implants would fit my body. Weightlifting and running are part of my regular routine and I wanted to make sure I could still do those activities without issue.
When it was time to schedule some consults with various surgeons in my area, I heavily relied on Real Self as I'm not from Seattle and haven't lived here very long. I ultimately chose the first doctor I met with, Dr. Joshua Cooper at Sound Plastic Surgery. I chose 310cc moderate profile smooth round silicone implants, placed under the muscle via an incision under my breast.
My procedure was on December 28 2020. I'm patiently waiting for them to soften and drop, and I can't wait to see how they settle over the next few months! I also have to say that I totally underestimated the pain; it's difficult to describe what those first few days felt like, but at about 4 days post op I finally felt some improvement. I'm two weeks post op now; I feel no pain and the tightness has subsided substantially. The steri-strips are still attached and going strong so I haven't seen my incisions yet. My new breasts already feel like they belong to my body- I honestly sometimes forget I have implants.
Even though I have months to go until my breasts look/feel more natural, I feel SO GOOD about myself! I'm very happy with the implant size I chose and can't say enough good things about my experience so far with Sound Plastic Surgery and Dr. Cooper. I'm so so happy that I finally did this!
