I've wanted a breast augmentation since I was in high school. I've never felt comfortable with how small my chest was and to top it off I have a concave sternum and one breast was bigger than the other. I went in for a consultation in April this year, I was pretty set on getting 385cc and 410cc implants. When I went in for my pre op appointment 4 1/2 months later, I changed my mind and waned to go bigger. I decided on the inspira smooth round full profile 450cc for my left(bigger) breast and 485cc for my right(smaller) breast.
My stats are 5'7" and 180lbs. I started out with a small 34B. I have one child, who is three and I breast fed for about 1 1/2 years so I was left with droopy small boobs

Day of surgery September 1st

I was so nervous the morning of surgery. I was afraid the sizes I chose wouldn't fit or that they would look weird. I remember getting onto the surgical table and the anesthetist said she was going to give me some versed and that was the last thing I remember. When I woke up I was feeling super groggy, of course. The first thing I did was pull down my gown to look at the girls haha. I asked my recovery nurse how long it had taken me to wake up and she said 10-15 mins and that was really fast. After I was able to keep my eyes open l, I got into a chair, she did some more vitals. I asked them to go get my boyfriend and then Dr. Robbins came in to check on me ne see if I was in any pain and I did nope just feeling some pressure. The nurse had given me a Valium for the muscle spasms and helped me get my bra, sweat pants and zip up jacket on. Then I was in a wheelchair and into the car. We live about 3 hours away from the office so I was prepared with ice packs and frozen peas for the ride home.

Looks like they took care of you at the hospital. Operation day was quite painful for me, 8-9 on the pain scale but dissipated by day 2 and 3. My biggest concern was getting off the narcotics as fast as possible. Those drugs are no joke! They made me loopy and disobey a lot of my surgeons post op restrictions!

They had given me dilaudid IV during surgery so I think that really helped with the post op pain level haha. The anesthetist said they usually give fentanyl but I am very sensitive to it and it makes me extremely nauseated so she said she would just use the dilaudid instead.

Hey girl super excited for you!! I just got my surgery bra yesterday and I am going for the same size as you... what size did you get for your bra? Did you take two different sizes in with you?

I usually wore medium or large because of my rib cage, and because I usually wore a padded bra under sports bras before my surgery. I got a size XL in my front zip sports bras because it wasn't super tight around my rib cage and figured it would feel right with the swelling etc after surgery and they fit perfectly after surgery.

Now I get what everyone means by morning boob! Gosh it was awful. I've been taking Vicodin and Valium for the pain and muscle spasms along with an antibiotic haven't had any troubles with them. And I forgot to mention before I went back to surgery the anesthetist of a patch behind my ear for nausea prevention it's called scopolamine-she said it can stay on for up to three days. The girls are still swollen but not as bad I was I expecting. Pain for the most part is maybe 3 or 4 out of 10. The worst is trying to sit yourself up which thankfully my amazing boyfriend has been helping me with

Yes, the dreaded morning boob, two hard a rock craters on your chest that literally ache upon waking. Mine settled down after bout 2-3 minutes of getting up and being up and moving around. You're looking great thus far!
