I had my first breast augmentation about 17 years ago, saline 275cc above the muscle (subglandular) and was very happy. As the years passed, pregnancy, breast feeding, and then a cancer diagnosis requiring chemo and lots of steroids, my weight fluctuated so much! Throughout these weight changes I had developed some tenting (?) and sagging of the stern all skin. So I finally decided to try to get it fixed! My surgeon was great, his nurse was wonderful and incredibly prompt in responding to all of questions, and his CRNA was amazing!! The whole process was smooth and efficient. All my questions were answered and outcomes were gauged realistically.

That's a long time for implants to last! I'm so glad after all the changes your body has been through that you were able to give yourself a touch up! Do you like the feel of your new implants so far compared to the saline? How were the first week of your recovery? Congratulations on your new look and on conquering the cancer! ;)

So happy I switched to silicone! Definitely much more natural feeling. First week was kind of a blur! I had hydrocodone for pain and diazepam for muscle spasms- worked great, but definitely slept a lot! Only took the prescription meds for the first week, then transitioned to prescription strength Aleve and Tylenol for the second week.

Feeling great! Every once in a while I get a few " zingers" of discomfort but haven't needed anything for pain. Left side still dropping. Feeling more "squishy " every day.incisions healing well.

I realized I never posted my before pictures! I did question whether I had symmastia, but I didn't.
I also thought I would post my measurements for those of you who are trying to decide on size.
I'm 5' 4", weight is about 126lbs, my base measurement was 13. I liked the extra high profile to help lift the skin for a perkier look without a lift. I also wanted my breasts not to slide into my armpits when I laid down. Here are some examples of my wish pictures.
Hope this helps!!

When is your surgery? I had a consult today and was recommended to go with the UHP Inspira 445 implants. It's terrifying. It seems so big!

Krissy0785 - I just had my 6 week check up, and things are healing great! I am regaining strength everyday. I am currently measuring 32D-DD depending on the bra/brand (Victoria's Secret = 32DD/34D) I had the option of High Profile 485 or Ultra High Profile 445; I opted for the Ultra High Profile to fill in the upper pole of my breasts more (keep in mind the big difference is the profile - as far as 445 vs 485, it's only 40cc's difference, a kids medicine cup is 30cc's). I am very happy with the UHP because I wanted the projection. The high profile will probably give you more of the "natural slope", but by going under the muscle, I think mine have a gradual slope. I also wanted them to "stay" more in place when I lay down (not slide into my armpits :) I will post a 6 week photo to update! I promise you, it always sounds bigger than they actually seem. I think initially you get used to the swelling right after surgery, and then when the swelling goes down, you wish you had gone bigger! Just make sure to follow Dr's instructions, rest in the beginning!! No reaching, lifting, or pulling. Take time to heal. I am happy to answer any questions!!
