I will admit, my 1st experience with him (19 years ago), I was extremely satisfied with the results, so I put my trust in him again.
However, coming back (to exchange the old saline to silicone and also correct capsuling that occurred in the recent 2 years), I must admit, this experience was not quite as pleasant. At not only the outcome (noticeably obvious (even in clothes) asymmetry right breast sits 3cm lower than the left and due to placement/position is now an entire cup size larger than the left; PLUS there is still capsuling of my left breast, and it is prolapsed fell out of pocket) BUT also with Dr. Perez’s complete lack of care about me – as a patient. It goes past disgust.
I expressed my dissatisfaction and concerns with the outcome (over the last 10 weeks, via numerous emails with photos) but rather than hearing me or even wanting to acknowledge/notice there is a concern with my left breast, instead they blamed it on numerous “age, tissue & natural positioning” factors. Thus, continuing to say, “the only possible thing I could do, to maybe improve the appearance would be lift your right breast. However, this would create additional scaring and surgeries, when truly, they are beautiful……”… “As Dr. Perez discussed with you in the office the human body is not symmetrical. Many women have asymmetries…”… “Finally XXXXX, I really think you look great in that nice bikini picture you showed us. Try to enjoy the improvement you achieved”
I PAID for Dr. Perez to boost my appearance, my self-esteem and to meet my needs and he has the audacity to say: “This is the best these hands can do…… don’t be so critical of yourself, no one will notice so be proud and go flaunt them.”
I have now had 3 other professional (board certified) opinions. All of which confirmed to believe, this displeasing outcome should/could have been avoided had Dr. Perez performed the correct capsulectomy (complete removal of the hardened tissue) and capsulorrhaphy (repair of the tear or suture to tighten) in BOTH breast as needed thus ensuring a more aesthetically pleasing and more closely symmetrical outcome.
However, Dr. Perez was not even willing to concede any other possible conclusions until I sent him the other 2 opinions, then all of a sudden, “it is possible you may be ‘reforming’ a scar tissue capsule on the left side”, and they now want to see me to further discuss options. Joke.
The fact that Dr. Perez had not, could not and would not even stop for one moment to see beyond his ego and notice, admit or acknowledge there was /is something he should have /could have done differently to have given me a more aesthetically appealing outcome is beyond arrogance.
HIS 1st priority should ALWAYS be the complete satisfaction of HIS clients and sadly, he has proven it is not. Neither he or his office had listened to my concerns and disappointments, they have not been empathetic, they did not ask questions and most definitely have not provided support. Oh, and to boot, they did not disclose or advise me to purchase the warranty…. or that is must be purchased w/in 45 days of surgery. To me this is complete FAILURE

He should give you your money back so you can go to someone else to fix it. If not, I would be seeking legal counsel

he has completed avoided me- I am not even sure what to do at this point. i am so frustrated.
at least with the other opinions, i received- they were all consistent to say nothing can be done for 3 more months- as my surgery was only April 20th. and they all seem to think the manufacturer of the implants may help some since the left breast is still capsuled. i have not saught out legal advise as of yet. maybe i truly should.

i am not sure yet. the other opinions all stated nothing can be done for 3 months since my surgery was only April .... as for legal or refund, i have not gone that far yet. .. i should tho. i mean he gladly took my money and i certainly did not PAY for this OUTCOME. :)

Shame on this doctor and his team! Blaming the patient! Stand by your work and patient! Anyone can see you f' uped! You have a ethical obligation to your patients to rectify and correct your mistakes. Don't be in the business of doing breast augmentation if you aren't willing to see each individual case all the way through ! I so sorry you are going through this BS.

It’s not bad enough that Dr. Perez completely dismissed me and now he wants to call me a liar by claiming my assertions are false and uniformed…
His only concern is my reviews to his reputation, yet he did not give 1 ounce of care to acknowledge me or my concerns until AFTER I provided other professional opinions. And then finally recognized my left breast is capsuled only 10 weeks after performance of his surgery. This should never have been had he done his job properly.
He took away my self esteem and left me self-cautious which allows me entitlement to my negative reviews. And now he wants to offer me $2000.00 to ERASE them, act like it never happened to leave him with a perfect score; while I paid him $8000.00 and now have to repair the damage, he’s left me with. It’s only fair he is left with a scar too. It’s about ownership and responsibility.
