I can’t believe I finally did it! After 19 years of wishing, waiting and researching, I finally took the leap! After four children I was ready to do something for me! I chose Dr. Marc Klein because of how knowledge and certifications. He made me feel comfortable and has supported me through this process. The Vectra imaging he offered at my initial consultation helped tremendously with deciding what size implant to go with!

Pre op? Make sure the space you heal in is clean and prepared for you! I bought two body pillows presurgery and they have been a blessing during recovery! Postop? Sleep reclined or semisitting up. Also, if taking pain meds, make sure you are drinking plenty of water, eating lots of fruit and veggies and high fiber foods!

520cc Submuscular, inframammary incision. Surgery was quick and easy. Took about an hour and a half for surgery. I was in recovery for 30 mins, then on my way home! My left armpit and rib area hurt the most. Ifelt very swollen and upon weighing myself discovered I gained over 10lbs!

Today I woke up in so much pain! I couldn’t sleep very well. I called the doctors office to see if I could get something stronger for the pain. Doctor called me in a new prescription. I have been up walking as much as possible. I was recommended to walk every two hours and to wear my compression socks constantly. The new pain meds seem to be helping. It still hurts to move my arms and twist. I also ordered a new surgical bra today so I can wash the one I came home in. You can find them on Amazon.

Congratulations! I've heard a lot about the Vectra imaging, ladies love it! What are your best pre and post-op tips?
