I've always been flat chested and have wanted bigger boobs, not like Dolly Parton's or anything, but any amount of boobage for as long as I can remember. Real quick background info - I was raised in the Pennsylvania foster-care system (don't feel bad for me, overall it was the best thing for me as my bio parents are a hot mess) where the "state" decided that even though I wasn't sexually active and still hadn’t received my first period at 12 yrs. old I still needed to be put on birth control. So I started the Depo-Provera shot and received it every 3mths until my ½ sister found and adopted me at the age of 17. For those of you who don’t know the Depo shot also stops your period from coming. So I also didn’t really experience my first period until I was 17 years old. Because of this I feel as though my breast never had a chance to fully develop. Anyways moving away from the sad stuff. I’ve been dreaming of getting tata’s for forever, and finally I can!!!
I’ve had my surgeon picked out for the last 4 years now and on 4/4/19 I went in for my initial consultation with Scottsdale surgeon Dr. Parson. I was so flipping excited and I’m sure it showed. His assistant Melina, one of the sweetest gals you’ll ever meet, brought me to the consultation room helped me get settled, took some before photos, and asked some questions pertaining to what my desired result are. Then Dr. Parson came in took some measurements, and explained the different options, and realistic results as well as how big and small I could go. Then Melina returned with the silicone sizers and I decided on the 450cc’s moderate profile. I then went to another room where I met Danielle, another sweetheart, the patient coordinator she went over the costs and payment options and we set the surgery date for 5/24/19!!!! Fast forward a few days, after sharing what the details with my sister-in-laws whom have both gone to Dr. Parson for their breast augmentation I started to feel like maybe I was going too big, I emailed and expressed this to Dr. Parson’s staff and they promptly responded to me letting me know I could come in and try on more sizes. I chose to wait until my pre-op to try on more sizes.
Today I went in for my Pre-Op, I talked to Melina and tried on more sizes, spoke with Dr. Parson and asked a bajillion questions, and ultimately decided that 450cc’s is what will look and work best for my body and lifestyle. As of today I am 24 days away from surgery. Eek!! I’ll be sure to post as many updates and photos post-surgery as possible.

Less than 48hrs away!
OMG! This is really happening!
The anticipation is killing me! I am less than 48 hrs away from my surgery. I've got so many thoughts/ feelings going on right now I don't even know where to begin. I am so anxious! I had hoped to get a call telling me someone had canceled and I could come in sooner, mainly to try and avoid these feelings but nobody canceled. :( So here I am just waiting for Friday morning. Somehow I didn't really give too much thought to the pain that comes along with this surgery until just this week. I'm not looking forward to that and I'm praying I'll be one of the lucky ones that doesn't have too much pain.
I've been doing my best to eat healthily and drink more water. I've made sure to look at as many recovery stories as possible to mentally prepare myself for the awkward stages the new boobs will go through during the first few days and weeks. Shortly after the initial consultation, I started using Palmer's Tummy Butter and Skin Therapy Oil on my chest multiple times a day. I have no idea if using it before the surgery will help but I figure it can't hurt. I ordered a 40-degree wedge pillow, a large ice pack wrap, extra ice packs, a pill organizer, a pregnancy pillow and a zip-up sports bra from Amazon.com. For the last 24 days, I've been training myself to sleep on my back with the wedge and pregnancy pillows and that seems to be going well. I am nervous/worried about my dog's reactions to the new me, have I mention I have 10 big furbabies.haha. I am as ready as I think I can be, yet for some unknown reason, I still feel so unprepared. That's all for now, I've posted the links to the things I bought below and I will post updates and photos as soon as I can.
Palmer's moisturizers are from Walmart because it was cheaper.
I randomly found the Boppy Pillow at Ross for $14
The rest was purchased from Amazon.com

It sounds like you are really well prepared! You will be fine. Even if you have some pain, just remember that the pain medications are there for you to use and it’s OK to take them! Plus it makes the days go by in more of a haze been counting down the minutes until it goes awa it sounds like you are really well prepared! You will be good. You are doing so much preventative stuff which will help a ton. I still use my wedge pillow and am 3.5 weeks post op. It definitely keeps me on my back and is more comfortable than piling pillows up for sure!
If you happen to get muscle spasms, like I did, I found that Natural Calm Magnesium powder helped me a ton!
Good luck tomorrow morning!! Will be looking for your updates!

Thank you for the magnesium powder tip, my left side randomly started to spaz a few days ago but thankfully the pain has gone away now.

Day 3
I'm on day 3 and so far so good. Thankfully I've got this pain pump going into my breast. I've only had to use the muscle relaxers so far. I should be able to see what my new tatas look like tomorrow after Dr.Parson takes off the bandages and I will get more photos then.

Are the cages to keep your child away? That’s genius lol!

haha. No, they are there so I can still have my furkids in the room with me but they can't come and jump on me. I have 10 German Shorthaired Pointers and they were all very worried about me. lol
