Had my first consult last week and my pre-op visit with my surgeon yesterday (2 weeks before surgery). So excited to update my lack-luster bust after breastfeeding 5 babies. I deserve something for me!

Thank you! I’ve been pleasantly surprised already! I was expecting people to be judgey and tell me not to do it. But every person I have told has said “that’s so great! I’m so glad you’re doing it! Your going to be so happy!” It’s making me even more excited for the big day!

Surgery Day!

Yay! Dr. Dawli and all the staff at Sisters Hospital was amazing! Woke up with minimal pain, mostly just tired. I got 310cc round silicone Natrelle implants under the muscle. Goal is for a natural looking C/D cup but okay with a bit bigger. I’ve been staying on top of pain meds and icing lots. Mostly just a pressure feeling, like when your milk comes in. Hard to move or do certain motions with my arms though, that’s the actually painful part. From what I hear though gets better pretty quick. I see Dr. Dawli again Thursday to take the surgical bra and bandages off. I’m so excited!!!!!

Day 5 Post-Op

Feeling great today! Day 1 & 2 were the most “pain” but really just tightness and restriction with moving my arms but overall feeling great! Today was the first day I’ve been home alone for a prolonged period with my 18month old. She adapted to having to climb in the car and her bed just fine. Mornings are the most sore but gets better as the day goes on. Dr. Dawli suggested massage pressure pushing the implants down a few times a day and I’ve beem doing that. They continue to settle and I know this can take months. Can’t wait too see the final product! Already in love though!

It’s been 2 years now. How is everything going and do you still love them? I’m considering implants and Dr. Dawli. Would love an update from you!
