I Love my Breast Revision by Dr. Shafer!!!!!
WORTH IT
I am so so so happy I decided to do my breast revision surgery with Dr. David Shafer.
I started with 34A boobs and in 2022 had a breast augmentation—255cc Sientra implants, which brought me to a small C. I absolutely loved my original implants, but unfortunately had a slight case of capsular contracture on my right breast so it just never fully fell into place, which has always bothered me.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago I decided I would do a breast revision surgery and ultimately go with a bigger implant size.
At first I said I wanted 355cc and then after discussing with Dr. Shafer and nurse Amy (the absolute BEST NURSE IN THE WORLD), I decided to move up in size to 385cc. Thennnn after a TON of research and a few more discussions with my husband, Dr. Shafer, and Amy, I ultimately settled on 415cc Sientra Moderate Plus Profile implants under the muscle.
For reference I am 5’3” and 125lbs.
I really wanted more cleavage, and at the same time I wanted implants that would still look proportionate to my body so choosing the size was hard!!! It’s so hard when you’re going through everyone’s journeys on Real Self and TikTok and trying to figure out what will work for your body because the truth is that everyone’s body IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. So what might look very large on one person can look perfectly proportionate on another.
I feel so extremely/beyyyonddd happy I went with 415cc implants because I think they are literally perfect for my body size/shape.
The whole process at Shafer Clinic was seamless and elite. Dr. Shafer himself is just the best—he will answer any and every question you have and I never once felt rushed during any of my appointments. My nurse who walked me through everything every step of the way—before, during, and after—was nurse Amy. She has literally been my rock and I am so grateful for her. I am also so grateful for Dr. Shafer’s expertise and precision because my boobs look seriously incredible.
It’s been a little over a week since my surgery and I feel great. The first few days were a little tough I’ll be honest. I definitely took my prescribed Valium and Oxy every day just to help my muscles stay relaxed and comfortable. At this point I’m experiencing little-to-no discomfort at all—it’s truly amazing. I love my boobs more and more every day. I’m reallllly excited for them to fully drop & fluff, thought it is so hard being patient & waiting for that to happen lol.
