WORTH IT
I am 23 years old and a university graduate. The greatest trouble for me before the surgery was fitting a certain type of clothes and I was tired of being unable to wear tops and dresses I liked.
It wasn’t easy at all to decide which surgeon I can trust. I liked doctor’s Kim works from Apgujeong Regen very much, he is a board-certified plastic surgeon with huge experience but going to another country wasn’t actually in my plans. However, I felt that he is that exact doctor I was looking for and my family fully supported me in my choice. Scheduling an appointment was quite easy, in the end of May I just left an inquiry on the website and received a reply within a day. We set a f2f appointment on June 20 and I began my preparations.
Once I came in to their office I liked pretty much everything about it. The environment, eye pleasing colors, cozy lobby with comfort sofas and most important friendly and courteous staff. On the initial stage I had a consultation with an assistant. She spoke English pretty well and was helping me the whole process. My pre-consultation was followed with some health tests and then I finally met doctor Kim. Although we communicated through an interpreter, I felt his confidence in his words and I paid attention to everything he said. He showed me samples of several implants and we both agreed on Motiva. I wasn’t too nervous about the size as I just decided to leave things to doctor Kim, because I knew he is a professional and knows better. My initial size was 75A and I wanted to change it to C+, so he told me that 300cc would fit me the best but he also recommended 335cc if I’d want to go bigger but I decided that the more natural it’d look the better.
The payment process was pretty simple. 10% deposit to reserve the date for the surgery. I scheduled it a few days after my consultation just in case I decided to change my mind last minute.
On the day of the surgery I met their staff and I had to take a few additional tests. After I was cleared, I met with Dr. Kim and the anesthesiologist. Then a nurse assisted me to the operating room. The operation itself went very smoothly. I was knocked out with general anesthesia for about 4 hours. When I woke up, I was about to cry but it wasn’t because of the pain, as truly speaking I didn’t feel any except some pressure, but because of the happiness. My breast already looked bigger. The nurses there were very helpful with explaining the do’s & don’t for the healing process. They also gave me a special bra that I had to wear. Few days after when main bandage was removed, my size was very noticeable! I didn’t have any bruising only swelling but it gone very quickly. The first week there was only slight discomfort when putting on clothing but nothing too bad. Second week most of the swelling was gone and only slight bruising remained. I was fully healed by the fourth week but to see the final result took me a bit longer. I had to wear only sports and wireless bras for about 2 months or so. After 3 months, they look and feel amazing, I could work out again and scars almost gone. I was a bit afraid to touch them some time after the surgery, but after 5 months I squeezed them as I wanted and they felt 100% natural. The healing didn’t actually take me long and was pretty easy but my final result I could see only after about 6 months.
I am very satisfied with everything. The hospital and staff were very helpful, my assistant was so attentive and patient, she spent so much time with me. My results are great and I also want to thank Dr. Kim and his very helpful staff for everything.
